POV- Thanatos
So, he's finally dead. For his help freeing me from the Giant Alcyoneus' clutches in Alaska, I will personally help him to Elysiumso he may have eternal happiness.
*A Few Minutes Later*
I've arrived to the Doors of Death, where I sent Perseus, so that I may welcome him to the feeling of death.
I see him waiting by the doors with a confused look on his face. As he sees me approach him his face becomes battle ready which in turn confuses me. I'm the one to speak first, "Perseus, why do you look like you're about to attack me?"
"Don't you know?" he questioned, his face becoming softer. "Know what, I have come here to greet you and take you to Elysium so that you may achieve eternal happiness." I say still with a confused look 'What has this boy been through?' I thought to myself.
"So you really haven't heard of how everyone at camp hates me along with some of the gods?" his stare lessening as memories are probably filling his mind. "Yes I have heard of it but I, along with a most of the minor gods and a few Olympians, do not side with them on the matter." I said truthfully and he must have believed me because his gaze now looks like he is thankful.
"Alright, I think that is enough talk, we should get to your Elysium so you may finally achieve happiness." Ready for him to want me to give him a second chance. "Sure, maybe I can actually get that happy ending I've always wanted..." he replied with more of a defeated look in his eyes.
POV Chaos
"Well it looks like it's my time to step in." I mumbled to myself. With that, a black portal appears with the look of the universe inside of it. I stepped out of the portal right in the middle of two confused men.
Telling you they were shocked to see me was an understatement. At first they did nothing but then Thanatos realized who I was and bowed while Perseus took out his sword. I chuckled at the different reactions.
"Perseus, please bow, you do not know who you have your sword pointed at." Thanatos said which did make Perseus drop his guard a bit but only enough to lower his sword.
"Please rise, I hate when people bow to me, but Perseus since you don't know who I am let me introduce myself; I am Chaos, Creator of the Universe," I said with a bit more pride than I would like. "and I want you to lead my army."
After a minute Perseus speaks up, "Could you call me Percy and not Perseus and also why would the creator of , well, everything want me, I've already lost everything...." he trailed with the eyes of someone totally defeated and hanging his head low.
"Perse-Percy, what I am offering you is a chance to help those who need help in the universe. You are one of the finest heroes that I have found since the beginning, and people like you only show up once in a millennia. I ask again will you join me as leader of the Elemental Four and commander of the Army of Chaos?" I quickly said knowing that he may fade to the void if I don't act quick.
He brings his head back up in confusion, "The Elemental Four?" he asked with confusion and curiosity. "They are a group of four people who were given a power extremely rare for each of their respective element they control." I tell him hoping he would consider my offer for the right reason and not just for the power.
"Alright I'll join, not to be a commander, but to help people who lost everything like me and for those who can't defend themselves." he says with the most confidence I've seen in him since I got here.
"Lord Chaos, what am I to tell the others when they find out that Perseus is not in the Elysium?" asked Thanatos who I forgot was still here, woops. "To solve this problem I ask that you swear on the River of Chaos so that you may not tell anyone who, what or where Percy has gone." I replied knowing I can't bear to make him keep the secret.
