An Attack On Titan Fanfic : Titans Are Real

Part 1 UNEXPECTED MEETING 1

You wake up from a more than comfortable sleep.You walk over to your bathroom to brush your teeth,but as you're brushing your teeth you look under your sparkling (e/c) eyes only to find you have bags.This was normal to you because every now and then you would skip a nights rest only because of the nightmares you would have.Sometimes you would dream about giant naked people roaming the streets,tearing people in half,not because they were too big to eat,but because they just wanted to hear their 'prey' scream.But this was just half of the story.These things,some people call Titans but others call them giants,but that's only because of their enormous size.In your nightmares you wouldn't just see the Titans eating people,you would see yourself,screaming as you saw someone-you haven't even met-getting eaten by one of those...monsters.Once you saw the Titans breaching the wall!In another dream there weren't even walls there anymore...or maybe there was never walls.They could just walk right into the village as if nothing was going on,and nothing could stop them.

Once you brushed your teeth and finished up your breakfast,you went outside to enjoy the beautiful sun.

You were starting to get bored,so you decided to start heading home.It was getting dark,anyways.When you were about two blocks away from home,you heard a noise within an alley way.You peered inside the alley way and the noise sounded again,it was coming deep within it,behind a trash can.You slowly and cautiously stepped into the alley way.
"H-hello...?
The noise suddenly stopped,but no one said anything.
"Is anybody there?"
Again the noise came and went.You walked closer to the noise.You peered behind the trash can and you couldn't believe what you saw...

It was a little girl wrapped in a thin blanket.She kept tossing and turning,which leads to the noise she was making.
"What is she doing here all alone...?"
You asked yourself as you looked around.It seemed really cold even when you had a jacket on,you could only imagine how cold this girl was.Taking off your jacket you sat next to the girl,and wrapped it around her.
"Maybe someone'll come"
You thought aloud as you hugged your knees to your chest,to try and make yourself a bit warmer.

You waited and waited but no one came...the sun had already gone down but you didn't care,you were just worried about the girl.She looked about your age but just a bit smaller.At least one or two years younger.So if you were 9 she was about 8 years old.She kept tossing and turning until finally she woke with a start.She looked at you scared and confused.She slowly backed away until her back was against the wall.You slowly crawled a bit forward and stretched out your hand toward her.
"Who are you...?"
"Sorry...I didn't mean to scare you,but...do you have any parents or someone who watches over you?"
"I don't have parents,they abandoned me and my brother when I learned how to crawl and barely knew how to walk..."
"Oh...sorry..."
"For what?"
"I'm just sorry and also for asking..."
"It's ok"
She gave you a sweet smile,you couldn't help but smile back.
"Well,do you have someone who watches over you,like a guardian?"
"My brother takes care of me if that's what you mean"
Yeah,but where is he now?Do you know?"
"No...he just told me he had to take care of business... 'deep down below' business"
"Well...do you know when he's coming back?"
"No,I don't know where he went,or what he's doing,or when he'll return.He didn't tell me anything because he said I'm 'too small to understand' "
"Oh...what's your name?"
"Mikasa"
"And your age"
"8...why?"
"I'm just wondering,I can't ask?"
"No,you can.Sorry"
"It's fine.Well I'm (F/n) (L/n) and I'm 9 years old.Nice to meet you Mikasa."
You guys introduced yourselves then she looked down at the sweater in confusion.
"Who's sweater is this?"
"Oh,that's mine,but you can use it"
She looked surprised and looked back at the sweater,then at me again.
"Thanks..."
You gave her a gentle smile.
"What's your brother's name?"
"His name...?His names-"
She was interrupted by another deeper voice.
"Levi.Yours?"
You turned around to see a calm,stoic face staring back at you.
"(F/n)..."
You stuttered a bit his gaze sure was intimidating.All of a sudden Mikasa stood up and ran toward him.
"Brother!"
She jumped up only for Levi to catch her and spin her around.
"Yay,your back!You're finally back!"
"I missed you too,kiddo,and for taking so long I brought you something"
"Really?What is it?"
"I'll show you later,just give me a sec,okay?"
She nodded her head eagerly.She looks so happy...and just a few seconds ago she looked like she was going to burst into tears.It's amazing how the littlest of things can effect us.Levi then turned back at me and proceeded to walk toward me.He stopped close enough for me to hear him whisper but still kept his space apart.
"I saw what you did..."
"What did I do?"
"You stayed with her for more than an hour,just to make sure she was safe.I saw you were even about to fall asleep a couple of times and gave her your sweater even though you were cold.....and i have to say-thank you for everything.One day I'll repay you but for now follow me"
"What about Mikasa?"
"She can follow,too"
You started following him out of the alley way and into the streets.He kept going,crossing the street and then turning right he went straight two blocks up,then turned into yet another alley way.He went all the way into the end,only to stop in front of a black van.
"While I was gone I stopped by some stores and brought along a bunch of...'goodies'"
He went to the back and opened it up,only for you to see all kinds of things.It was as if he had his own store back there.
"H-how did you get all this stuff?"
"I guess you can say I 'borrowed' them"
"So...you stole them...?"
"Look kid,I didn't bring you back here to question me.So if you see something you like,then just take it and leave"
"But...why would you steal...?"
"Because I had to...you wouldn't understand your just a kid..."
"But...where do you guys live?"
"We live a little ways off from here,we got a small apartment"
"Then why didn't you leave Mikasa there?"
"Because I couldn't...those bastards might wanna take her to get back at me..."
"What...?What bastards?"
"Look you fuckin' brat,are you gonna take sumthin' or not?"
"No,thanks..."
"What your scared or are you just to 'goody-goody' to do something like that?"
"No...I just wanted to help.I did this to help her and I even helped you,I don't expect nothing in return"
"YOU helped ME?How if you're just a tiny little fucking brat?"
"I watched over your sister..."
"That doesn't help me,you helped her but not me.I know she's more than capable of taking care of herself.For God's sake,she's an Ackerman!"
"Fine say what you want,believe what you want.So you can't go home?Where are you going to stay?"
"Where else?Here of course"
He said this while rolling his eyes,as if it was obvious.You were starting to get annoyed by his choice of words and actions.You are a very smart kid,maybe smarter than most,so you could understand every word he was telling you.Talking to this guy was worst than talking to a hardheaded 10-year old brat.
"Ok,then I'll just leave you two then"
After saying goodbye to Mikasa and trying to say goodbye to Levi,Mikasa gave you a hug,while all Levi did was give a lazy wave.
"Wait,(F/n)!Your jacket!"
"It's fine,you can keep it!"
As you said this her smile grew even wider.
