The feeling of hatred. The feeling of regret. The tightening feeling in your chest that could explode any minute if you didn't let out a hurdling scream. Every day, every hour, every second, it felt like he was getting farther and farther away. There was nothing you could do.Since childhood, you and Izuku were the best of friends, hanging out every minute you both had. But now, it seems like he doesn't even want to look you in the eye anymore. But this was all your fault. You decided to introduce her to him, and now they're inseparable.
They won't engage you in talks anymore, let alone let you eat with them during lunch. You didn't know where it went wrong. Could it be because they were annoyed with your presence? Or maybe because they couldn't acknowledge you and seemed you were far from existence?
No matter what you thought, it couldn't change the outcome of how they saw you. Every time you tried to make conversation with him, he would always ignore you or walk away, making his way towards her. But why? You were with him since the very beginning, but now he won't notice your feelings.
Pain.
You would always notice when he was down, seeing as he didn't talk as much when he was feeling low. You always knew how to cheer him up and stayed with him until he felt complete. Giving him gifts and watching All Might marathons until he fell asleep. Gently caressing your hand through his curls, untangling them. Giving a small kiss to his forehead so he could acknowledge how much you cherished him.
But now, when you needed him the most, he wasn't there. He always looked behind you, gracefully looking at the mesmerizing girl who he only knew for a day. But not at you, the one who he stayed in touch with for his whole life since birth.
But there was nothing you could do now. All you could do was watch from far away, seeing them complement each other and rant how perfect they are. Sometimes, you'd wish you left that girl, below the rubble almost being compressed by the rocks and keeping her away. But that's not very hero like.
He passed away. Your father that you looked up to passed away at the hospital. There was a villain attack at the bank where he worked, he tried to protect everyone but it only resulted him in death.
You mourned every night but in the morning through afternoon you would hide it underneath with a smile. Unfortunately, it was transparent to half the class and they soon realized what happened, giving you looks of sorrows and small apologies. Even Bakugou paid close attention to you, making sure you were okay.
Now that your father died, you didn't have anymore guardians. He was the only relative you had left and now you were completely alone.
Izuku still hasn't figured out the commotion and still ignored you. During break you tried to talk to him about your problems but when you came up to him he brushed you away.
"Izuku, can we talk? It's kinda impo-"
"I can't right now, Y/n. Can we talk later?"
"Uh- yeah, sure." You smiled.
"Thanks!" He never talked to you all day.
You weren't surprised, of course he would forget. If he can forget a human being, he can forget a small talk meeting. The fact that he has known about you only having one family member, and how you deeply cared about him, made you feel even more depressed, because he doesn't even want to have one conversation with you.
Trudging your tired and sleepy body to class, you hear a cheery familiar voice calling you from behind.
"Oh, hey Izuku." You straightened your posture, hoping he hasn't noticed.
