Well first off, I travel around called the backrooms. And let me tell ya that place ain't kind to anyone I've seen everything. Err... Maybe not everything but it's still plentiful!
Honestly I'm surprised to see anyone at the backrooms at all even if they're dead. I hangout in level 20 down to level 15. It means they managed to survived even if it's a few minutes or hours or days! (I'll be impressed if I see someone alive, that means they somehow survived for days. That's insane luck right there!)
Speaking of survivors, they sometimes leave resources and essentials basically like loot boxes if they were alive long enough to find things. Or maybe they leave some... Disturbing or just straight up heart dropping messages before they die.
It's like they just accepted death or something. They know they won't make it out alive, that there is nothing beyond death if they die in the backrooms. Only endless darkness, nightmares and loneliness comes.
Did you know that the main cause of death in the backrooms is dehydration and hunger or just straight up from the entities. Not surprising huh? Food and water is kind of scarce in the backrooms. And a bunch of hostile entities roam around like cockroaches. (Ewgh.) Especially when you're panicking and slowly losing sanity. But that's for the newcomers to worry about hahaha!
