"𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓'𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑?" little shawn's eyes widened as his new friend cory pointed towards the red-haired girl playing on the swing set.
"yep," little cory nodded, a beaming smile plastered onto his face as he watched shawn's reactions. "she's my twin. i think that means we were made together... or something."
shawn nodded, not taking his eyes off of the little girl as he tugged down the sleeves of his tiny leather jacket and tilted his head in innocent curiosity. "how come her hair is red and not dark like yours?"
"i'm not sure. something to do with science, i guess." cory shrugged his shoulders, grabbing his new best friend by the shoulders and dragging him over to his sister. "hey, laney!"
the little girl looked up at the sound of her name and returned the beaming smile on her brother's face. "hi cory, hi cory's friend."
shawn immediately smiled at her kindness and maturely held a hand out for her to shake. "i'm shawn."
"i'm lane." her smile grew even more as she took his hand and shook it bashfully.
cory wrapped an arm around them both and nodded his head, smiling widely to himself before little shawn spoke up again after a few moments.
