I woke the next morning to whispers, like someone was talking. Based on what I could feel, I was still curled up into Brock's side so I tightened my arm around his waist; snuggling closer to him. His chest rumbled as he chuckled, "Paul I'll call you back, she's waking up now." I heard him say quietly but pretended to still be asleep. Brock hung up, places his phone down and shifts his position, "I know you're awake babygirl." he says softly. I couldn't stop the smile that appeared as I shock my head no and bury my face further into his chest.

His arms tighten slightly around my waist as he places a kiss on the top of my head, "Oh, well if you're not awake then I guess you don't want to see the horses this morning." he says. After an internal battle, I decided to open my eyes and look up at him, "Hi." I whispered with a smile. "So you are awake." He teases with a smirk, making me groan; burying my face back into his chest. We stay like that for a few more minutes before we both get out of bed, me heading to the bathroom and him heading downstairs.

Grabbing my leather jacket just in case I got cold. I headed downstairs and entered the kitchen where Brock was in the process of cooking breakfast. I sat down on one of the kitchen island stools to wait and pulled out my phone. After about 10 minutes of scrolling through social media and reading countless comments about what happened Monday night - both positive and negative; mostly positive - Brock set a plate and a cup of coffee down infront of me. I locked my phone and put it back in my pocket before I started eating the couple of breakfast burritos he made for me.

We casually talked as we ate breakfast. Once we finished and drank our coffee, I gathered the dirty dishes and cleaned up; even when Brock protested, I did it anyway. When everything was cleaned up, Brock guided me out the back door and walked me over to one of the barns. My assumption was correct about it, it was stables and almost all the stalls were filled. As we approached, I could see Gareth and a couple of other people working in there; I could hear some of the horses neighing and moving around; and the smell made me thing back to all the times a child my Mom would take me horse-back riding when we would go on vacation.

We walk in and immediately, Gareth stops what he's doing and walks over to Brock. He starts telling him about what is needed and what was starting to run low but I stopped paying attention shortly after when I saw a beautiful black and white horse stick it's head out over the stall door.
