When we entered our locker room, Brock grabbed something. I didn't see what he grabbed because I had my face buried in the crook of his neck. He shifted me and sat us on the couch so I was straddling his lap, "Lex, let me take a look at your lip please." I hear Brock ask softly. I took a deep breath and lifted my head, letting him see me. He cleaned up my lip that had been split a little and proceeded to gently wipe my face free of my makeup. I then saw that some of my eye makeup had transferred to his neck so I giggled, "What you giggling at babygirl?" Brock asked amused. "Some of my makeup got on your neck, you now have a small black smudge right here." I said and ran a finger lightly over the spot I meant. I grabbed a makeup wipe and cleaned it off seconds later, "There you go, all clear." I said with a smile which he returned with a smile fo his own.

Neither Brock or I had noticed my Dad stood in the door way but when he cleared his throat, I snapped my head to look at him. "Oh hey Dad." I greeted with the smile still on my face, "Hi sweetie, how are you doing?" he asked as he shut the door and walked over. I didn't want to move off Brock so I just readjusted; resting against him with his arms around me, "I'm okay, I've been through worse. It's just a busted lip and I bit the inside of my cheek if you were wondering where the blood came from." I responded. "Well, the police are going to reopen the case and add a couple of additional charges, he won't be getting away with it this time." Dad informed me and I smiled, "I hope so but right now, I want to change, eat and sleep." I said with a giggle.

After that I jumped off Brock, grabbed my bag and went to the bathroom to change. Brock changed also after Dad told us that his match had been rescheduled and the three of us left the arena, driving back to the hotel; stopping for food on the way and Dad paid for all of us. I was exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally after the events of tonight, all I wanted now was to change into some comfy pyjamas and crawl into bed to sleep, to forgetting about what happened. Especially now that the entire WWE Universe knows about my life.

Brock guided me back to our hotel room and after saying our goodbyes to Dad, we entered. I dropped my bag down by the desk and grabbed some comfy clothes to sleep in then, headed to the bathroom to shower. Once I was done, I dried my hair and threw it up into a messy bun to deal with tomorrow. When I re-entered the bedroom, Brock was already in bed on his phone so I carefully climbed in next to him and curled up facing away from him; not expecting him to wrap his arms around me and pull me closer with my back to his bare chest.

I let out a happy, relaxed sigh. I felt so safe in his arms, protected even, like nothing could hurt me ever again. I didn't know what his feelings for me were, if he even had any but I was gradually starting to fall for him; I just didn't realise how fast I was actually falling. I fell asleep with a smile on my face as I felt his slow, steady breaths on the back of my neck.
