Faedra's POV
I glanced over at Idella as the freshmen walked away from us. She was wearing the same confused expression I was.
"Should we go?" I asked.
"I'm not sure, that was kind of weird...
"I'm just as weirded out as you are but I think we need to go and see what this is about."
"Agreed," she responded and was off.
Room 302. Room 303. 304. 305. 306. 307. 308. Room 309. The door was open a crack, exposing three girls sitting in a circle on the floor whispering.
"Hello?" I said hesitantly.
"Oh, hey. Come on in," said the shorter of the two freshmen.
The taller one started off by closing the door and saying, "Hey, so you guys are probably wondering why you are here. Wera and I have called this meeting because we know you are different. Like us. You can do things people can't explain. You can control things. Things like water, wind, ice, fire, earth. I am Willow and I can control wind. This is Wera and she can control water. Now, can you guys please introduce yourselves and tell us what Element you represent?"
After a moment's pause Idella responded from beside me, "My name is Idella, I am a junior here and I represent the element of ice."
Then, for the first time I since I had been there, the sophomore spoke saying, "I... I'm Ebony and I can, well, control the Earth."
That only left me. "I guess that means it's my turn. Well, I'm Faedra but my friends call me Fae. I can control the element of Fire."
"Well, now that this is taken care of, I guess you can all leave now," Willow announced.
"Wait," Idella interjected.
"Ida, is something wrong?" I asked.
"No, but I think that something should be done about the lack of training these three girls, Fae. Please, allow Fae and I to train you," Idella said to the younger girls.
"Okay," whispered Ebony, barely audible.
Ida and I walked back to our room in silence. As juniors we were on the third floor and there was no elevator so we had time to think.
Our room was fairly big and pretty cozy. My bedspread was black and white polka dots and hers had black and white stripes. My pillow case was hot pink to represent fire and Idella's was pale blue to represent ice. A few days ago we had painted the walls gray and the pillows and chairs we had in the room accented nicely. I sat down at my desk and relaxed in my hot pink chair. When Ida came in, she got into bed and went to sleep. After I had thought things through I sent texts to all of the other elements.Meet us at the abandoned playground at 3:45 tomorrow after school. Plz come. You need this. We can help u.
