A stormy day

POV: Darius
I was picking berries for the camp when suddenly a light drizzle began. I decided to go back to camp but then looked in my hand. I only had 12 berries which clearly wasn't that much. That camp had to eat and I'll make sure of it even if I get myself drenched. I continued to gather berries for the camp.

After around 15 minutes

I check my hand.30 berries.I whisper to myself. Enough for the 5! Guess im slipping another meal.I sigh and head back to camp.

Back at camp

Guys I got some berries! I grin drenched. Suddenly Ben rushed to me."Oh my god your going to get a cold."

I'll be fine.dont worry about me.I smile at him.

"There it is!" Ben gasped

What? I ask confused

"YOU SAID YOU'LL BE FINE MEANING YOU ARENT FINE RIGHT NOW!" Ben yelled at my over dramatically.

Yeah yeah.Fuck you Ben.
I hand everyone the berries.Then sit in the corner.Watching them eat.

My stomach grumbles a bit but I ignore it.

POV: Ben

I chuckle at my awesome joke then glance at Darius. He hasn't been eating..I think to myself.

"Dar!" I pat next to me calling him over to our bedroom.I smile as he comes over.I then offer him one of my berries.

"Heh no thanks but thanks-" He smiles.

"But you haven't been eatingggggggggggg." I cry.

"Your so over dramatic my gosh..I skipped 2 meals.Chill." He answers.

"2?! NAH NAH NAH NOW YOURE EATING!" I get on top of him shoving a berry in his mouth.

"UGH!! STOP IT BEN I SAID IM NOT HUNGRY.Just eat your food-" He says jokingly annoyed after I shove one of my berries in his mouth.

"Yeah,yeah.Still got ya to eat!" I shoot back proudly.

Suddenly thunder strikes.

I see Darius's eyes widen after hearing the crackle.
I watch his pupils hit the floor. I've gotten used to all this.His panick attacks,nightmares,hallucinations and self harm.I've become his close friend.Possibly the closest person at camp.I know how to handle this.

I hug him without saying a word as he grasps me tight.I notice he's trying to sob silently to make sure to not be a nuisance.I hear some sniffles every minute or two.

"You can cry if you want,bud." I smile for him,secretly worried.

I hear some soft cries and hug him tighter.

"It'll all be gone soon..don't worry." I say,playing with his hair.

It becomes silent then I realise he fell asleep.I smile and I smile proudly because I'm the only person he's ever fallen asleep on.
