A New Life

POV: Ben

My cheeks turned pink at the mention of both of us sleeping in a bed.Why do I feel like this? Do I like him..? Does he like me too?!

"S-sorry again." Darius stuttered on the verge of tears.

When he's like this I don't like anything anymore.He always apologises when it's not necessary.He's always so helpless.I feel the need to protect him.He is such a people pleaser.

"For what?" I ask

"I should've called for help.." He said holding back sobs.

"Hey it's me,bud.You can cry.." I think of something that can cheer him up. "On the bright side you don't have to wear so much clothing to cover your scars." I say then thinking shit that's such a bad thing to say I'm an idiot.

"You see to  be correct about that." Darius said chuckling

Maybe I'm not such an idiot..

"I think we should check the surroundings!" I exclaim.

"Sure,sure let me change first.I'll be right back Island boy." He said then ran off into the bathroom we made.

"HEY!! ITS ISLAND MAN." I scoff.

*3minutes later*

I watch Darius come out with his gloves and jacket off.He was now wearing shorts instead of jeans.

"Where'd you get those? I say looking at his shorts.

"I found our old suitcases!" He says then points to the whole camps suitcases.

"Uh- that's cool! But we should go explore."

"Alright!" He says and skips next to me.

I think I do like him..but does he like me? Should I confess?! What if it ruins our friendship.I think I should start a conversation.

"Hey Dar! I think we have a better chance of surviving than the others!" I grin at him.

"What why?" He asks still concerned for the others even after what they did to him.

"Because we have your notebook,dinonerd!" I chuckle ruffling his hair.

I noticed that upset him and immediately felt bad..That's what Kenji used to call him.

"So is your favourite dinosaur a raptor?"

He immediately beams. "Yeahhhhh they are so-"

I didn't hear him.I zoned out just looking at his face but I can't help it.He's so cute.He always looks out for others,he's sweet,he cares for his friends and living things,he puts other needs before him.Wait what am I thinking.I say the go back to listening.

"They also love travelling in packs!" He grins.

"Cool!" I likes how happy he was.I don't know Brooklyns problem.tch.I hate the camp..

I got an idea but Darius can't know.While Kenji,Brooklyn,Yazmina and sammy are away I'll blow their camp up and make it look like a dinosaur did it! They made Darius build the whole thing Anyways.hey didn't even help so I think it's fair..

"Hey Dar?" I ask him

"Yeah?" He smiles warmly at me.

"What your favourite colour?" I ask

"Definitely green!" He says. "Why?"

"Dunno know" I laugh

He chuckles aswell.

I blush a bit.Why is his laughing so cute? God I hate this.

"So what your favourite colour?" He asks me.

"Light Blue!" I smile

POV: Darius

He smiles so nicely..why is he so kind to me? He left camp for me..Even after I made him lose the chance of getting out of this hellhole..I don't deserve his care.I should have let Brooklyn stab me then and there..He seemed to know I was upset and hugged me.I hugged him back.

"Once again,it wasn't your fault." Ben reassured me

I held back a sob.

"Should we go back to camp?"

I nodded.

He picked me up and put me on his shoulders then started walking back.

"H-HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" I yell turning red.

"Going home.Duh." He responded casually but I saw his red face and I have to admit I  was a bit red too..

Once we got to the house he took one of my hands off me to open the door.

"Do I even weigh anything to you?" I ask him sarcastically

"Nope your light as a feather..You should really eat more,bud." He tells me a bit worried.

"Fineeeee." I say over exaggerating the situation.

He then takes me off my back and throws me on the bed.As he's walking out I say.
"Wait! Where are you going?"
"For a walk.." he says

I knew he was lying..I was like a human lie detector.
*10 minutes later*
"I heard a bang.He blew up the camp didn't he? I feel so bad- I'll just go check out the dinos

POV: Ben

I'm messing up the camp to make it seem like a dinosaur destroyed it.Last week I heard the camp talking about a new indominus Rex and Scorpios Rex..I swear to god if Darius befriends the fucking things on one of his daily walks..

POV: Darius

I spot 2 strange looking dinosaur and try to pet them.They rub against me.wait..IT WAS THE INDOMINUS REX AND SCORPIOS REX. I squeal startling them slightly. They then nuzzle eachother.

"YOU GUYS ARE IN LOVEEE! THATS SO CUTE."

They seem to smile at me.

"What should I name you two.."
I get the perfect idea!

I name the indominus Mint..my moms name

And the scorpios rex  Paul..my dads name

I look at a kid they have and name it Brand...my brothers name

I feel like ima bout to cry..I miss my family so much. I miss talking to my dads grave..I miss my moms pancakes and I miss Brand bullying me..now I'll never see them again..no one's family will see their kids..and it's because of me..The nublar 6 will die alone without their family and it's all my fault..

Mary notices I'm sad and picks me up with her teeth and takes me to the base me and Ben made..how does he still care for me.

Sooo are we friends now? I look at the dinosaur family.They seemed to nod and that made me happy.Just then I see Ben walking.He notices me with the dinosaur family then picks up a rock and throws it at a tree

"FUCKKK" he yells

"Chill." I say and pet the dinosaurs asking if they can leave and they do.

"I need to ask you something.." hen says pulling out green flowers.
