Scene IV: Affiliations

One's eyes dazzled alongside amazement on Munbro's crowded streets and buzzing lifestyle. Magicians, half-human half-animal inhabitants, inventors, scientists made this Realm full of possibilities for youths. In the crowd, Vanitas spotted a familiar duo, the magician siblings he and Kazuha met in Overworld. The youngest, Dietrian was flailing his limb so that the three spot him standing near a rather high-class building.

"Long time no see, folks!" His voice chirped with joy. His outfit didn't age with him; the same shirt and pants, boots, only now equipped with some mechanical components.

Kazuha just dragged himself after Tabbit, trying to down his dose of anxiety in his throat. He kept mostly quiet anyways, thinking there's no need to draw attention to himself. "I see you got the bracelet up and going, Kaz!"

Dietrian inched closer to examine the orb's obscure colour on the swordsman's wrist. Little did he expect that, out of reflex, Kaz would pin him down to the street by Dietrian's lower arm. Izek nearly threw himself at the other, freeing his sibling. "Just what are you doing?! Are you a psychopath?!"

"Kazuha...?" Hesitantly the youth called out as he saw the blonde's eyes darkening but there was something unnatural about it. Humans couldn't change the colour of their irises. Clearly.

Just after a deep breath could he reply in a hushed tone, his normal type of pigmentation returning into his orbs. "I'm deeply sorry. It was out of habit."

Habit? Dietrian wondered, this was so strange. Why would anybody be alarmed by simply being close to others?
He didn't even touch Kazuha, let alone hurriedly or unexpectedly. To the magician, there wasn't a straight explanation as to why would anybody need to be high on guard with people they knew (?).

"Please excuse me, Dietrian." His head bowed both out of respect and panic that he felt himself starting to cry. Panic, because he couldn't even as much behave himself and attack instead of focusing on the situation first. He was living in his head way too frequently that getting back in touch with reality was jumping into a vast ocean without being able to swim.

"It's alright. Could you, um... give me your Migrobrace?"

With a silent yes he unbuckled the chain and gave it to the brunette, trying his best to contain himself in front of the others. From the corner of his irises he saw Izek raising a brow at him before turning back to the conversation.

Soon they regrouped at the laboratory of the siblings. The two functional people, meaning Tabbit and Vanitas, came to know that the duo lived alone as their parents were working day and night at the Administrative District of Munbro for a few years now, directly under god Raune. Izek showed them around the property, assigning rooms for the three.

His movements trashed across the elegant room as he spat, "Munbro?! Under that dog Raune?! Are you sure?"

"I'm just as petrified as you, dear. But the dead is everywhere; the intel is hundred percent accurate. I advise you, yourself pay a little visit now. Arisa was far more promising than effective." Her grin turned twisted before lady Celestia sipped at her sparkling champagne.

"Well seems like it. Would you take care of my muse for me, Celestia?" Both their eyes turned cold, "Of course."

Just as one would be peacefully sleeping the night away, Kazuha's steady steps echoed throughout the house. He trashed in his sleep, eventually crying himself awake. Kai-san visited him again, and given just how much his tormented heart missed her, Kaz was so happy be began to cry. Only to wake up and not see her anywhere. How cruel dreams could be...
