I didn't get much sleep that night, after I kissed Grace Dixon. Partly because I was too happy, partly because I needed to plan the perfect first date. We could consider the game as a first date, but I like to think about it as a pre-first date. I couldn't bring her to another game, a restaurant would be too cliché and a movie felt wrong. I thought about the arcade, it was fun and we could've talked but then it hit me: she's a photographer! A picnic at veterans park was the perfect place for us. We could've talked and she could've taken pictures of the landscape. So, that same night I texted her that I had already planned our date and that she had to be free the next Saturday.

"I heard you love old movies, do you wanna watch one?" Brian asked Nicole innocently.
"Did you?" She was annoyed, like every time Brian approached her.
"They are showing grease tonight at the drive in, do you want to go?"
"Sure!" She went to Grace and asked her. "Do you want to go to the drive in tonight?"
"Yes, I heard they're showing Grease!" She told her. Then she turned towards Brian and I. "You guys should come to, it could be like a double date!" She looked at me with an innocent smile.
"Thank you Grace, see you two tonight." He winked at Nicole and went into his classroom. I looked at Grace and she still had that innocent smile on her lips. I wanted to kiss her in front of anyone but we said we wanted to take things slow.
"Grace what did you do?" She was furious. "You know I can't date him. He dated Liv last year and my brother is marrying her sister in three fucking months!"
"I'm sorry Nic, I think you should give him a shot. You are not Liv's friend and it's not like she's gonna be at family dinners." Grace said matter-of-factly.
"You better tell your friend," She said pointing at me. "That I'm not gonna kiss him good night."
"Don't worry, he's a gentleman!" I gave her a big smile and laughed a bit as she walked away. I turns to focus on Grace who was taking a book out of her locker.
"You little evil genius." I told her.
"He better treat her well, she needs that, a gentleman."
"Don't worry, it'll be okay." I put my arm around her shoulders and kissed her on the head while I walked her to class.

"Hey princess, are you done brushing your hair?" I told Brian twenty minutes after I got into his house.
"I'm not brushing my hair, I'm combing them. It's different." He said and put the comb down.
"What's this smell?" I asked him as I smelled that terrible odor.
"My cologne." He said as if that was normal.
"Okay princess, if you're ready, we should go to Grace's house, Nicole's there too."
"Cool." He gave me a wicked smile and got out of the bathroom. We got into the car and in five minutes we were there. I texted Grace to come down and ten minutes later they were both getting out of the house. She was wearing a white short sundress with blue flowers and low white chucks, she had her hair down tied in the back with a small blue bow. As for Nicole she was wearing red tank top and black leather shorts, a leather jacket on her shoulders and a pair of low boots, her hair down and curly as always. I got out of the car first and went to Grace.
"You look beautiful." I whispered in her ear and kissed her on the cheek. I opened the back door for her and she got in. Brian rolled down his window. "Hey beautiful, you can sit next to me." He said and she rolled her eyes at him but she was kind of smiling.
I got in next to Grace and Nicole got in next to Brian. We were doing it. It was a date.
We got to the drive in after a silent ten minutes drive. I bought pop corns and soda for everyone and we got back to the car but Brian and Nicole weren't there.
"What are the chances that Nicole killed Brian?" I asked Grace laughing.
"Low. What are the chances that they're kissing?" She asked.
"Lower." I said and turned around to look for them. "Maybe we should go to the toilet."
"They're there." She pointed at them. They were laughing and walked towards us.
"Guys you have no idea what happened." Nicole said while they both laughed. "I wanted Ice-cream so we texted you to get it but you didn't get the text."
"So we got out of the car and went to buy it." Said Brian jumping in the story. "While I was paying for the Ice-cream a guy started hitting on Nicole."
"He was huge, you have no idea." Nicole said.
"I gave her the ice-cream and told the dude to fuck-off." It was like a duet. They had the same vibes. Grace was right, they were perfect for each other.
"The dude got angry and prepared to punch Brian but his girlfriend saw him and asked him what was happening. I looked at the girl and it was Liv!" She started laughing again.
"Long story short, I survived. Liv looked at us and told the dude that she wanted a coke and now we're here." Brian said with a big smile on his lips.
"You did not just quote Taylor Swift." Nicole looked at him stunned.
"What can I say, I am a man of many resources." Brian was now enjoying himself. Nicole started to look at him in a different way. He did it. She was now enjoying his company.
"Do you want to stare at each other a little longer or do you want to watch the movie?" Grace said and they both got in the car. Two minutes later the movie started.
