CHAPTER 4 QUESTIONS

I sigh "Okay I believe you", I said softly to my mate.
"Why are you on my territory? mate or not you are trespassing on my lands unannounced", I said coldly. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes causing my heart to constrict on itself, then she looked away not answering my question.

"You can't be let out of here if you don't answer the question mate", I said seriously to her

"I-i was j-just running away f-from them I didn't k-know w-whos territory I w-would be on", she said through sobs and I broke down and ripped her door off her cell and walked to her. She cowered in fear and started to whimper. "Release her restraints now", I said to my warrior.

"Yes Alpha", he said grabbing his keys and unlocking her from the wall. I slowly bent down in front of her and she lowered her head in submission. "Sweetheart.. you dont need to bow to me we are equals" I said softly she looked up slightly with tears in her eyes. "Is it okay for me to carry you?" I ask her gently. She looked at me with terrified eyes before I could tell she was communicating with her wolf.

She nodded after a few seconds. I picked her up in my arms while she nuzzled her face into my neck inhaling ny scent and walked out of the dungeons. My pack members were curious to know who I was carrying so they kept staring. I growled softly at them and they immediately looked away feeling my alpha command pour out.

I walked into the pack house, mind linking my parents.

'mom dad I found my mate she's in bad condition right now'

'oh honey that's good but what happened to her?', my mom's voice rang through my head as I stopped walking.

'i don't know mom I'm trying to figure that out once I heal her wounds', I said sadly through the link

'okay hun keep her safe', my mom cut the mind link.

I looked down at my mate to find her looking at me curiously. I kissed her forehead gently causing her to blush and walked up the stairs to my room. I had a soft smile on my face when I put her on my bed. "I have a couple of questions for you if you're okay with answering", I said softly while kneeling in front of her. She nodded in response and looked into my eyes.

"What's your name?"
"Isabella"
"Last name?"
"Brooks"
"Where did you get all of these?", I said touching her bruises healing them one by one while counting how many she had on her body
"M-my pack", she said softly while stuttering
"Why did they do this to you?"
"B-because I'm a f-freak", she said almost crying
"Shhhh it's okay, why do you think that Isabella?"
"Because I'm not normal. I have a wolf but I also have a dragon and that's not normal in our world", she said with her head down.

She looked up at my shocked face. "You're a hybrid?", I ask still in shock, she nodded confusingly. I got up and smiled while stripping. She looked away blushing furiously. Then I shifted into my wolf-dragon. Now it was her turn to be shocked. "Y-you're a hybrid too?", She said getting up and coming closer to me cautiously. I bowed down to her and let her touch me. As her tiny hands touched me making my dragon and wolf purr feeling happy.

Then I nudged her with my nose gently to sit down and she did. I shifted back and put my clothes back on and went to her. I held her hands in mine they fit perfectly like two puzzle pieces. "You my love are not a freak you are power and people are scared of what they think is a threat but I promise you no one will hurt you ever again not while I'm breathing", I said to her seriously. She started crying again and I hugged her holding her in my arms on the bed. She calmed down and I Slowly started drifting off to sleep.
