Prologue (Flashback prologue)

"Mommy is my new dolly here yet?! I've been waiting ages!" I heard a little girl saying impatiently. I sighed and tried to stay still in the little cardboard box.

"Yes, yes sweetie. It's here, just wait a few minutes and it'll be open," I heard a soothe angelic voice, it was probably the guardian of the little girl.

I moved my head a little, making sure styrofoam got off my face just to make the child happy. Making the child happy is a very easy thing to do in the doll business. I sighed watching as light burst through as the child's guardian opened the cardboard box, I probably won't make the child happy though, I mean I'm just a goth looking doll. . . .

"Here sweetie! I think it's pretty, but don;t you think it's a little. . . I don't know. . . dark?" Who knew that such an angelic voice could hurt? I looked straight at the guardian of the impatient child. She wasoblivious to my gaze, but I could tell she knew something was staring at her.

The little girl picked me up slowly and admired every single part of me. I actually felt happy, but maybe just maybe life won't be so hard as a doll anymore.
