Coffee (a Calum Hood One-shot)

It's your first day of uni and you know absolutely no one and are completely lost. You're walking across the grounds towards your first class realizing that its to early to even be up let alone learn anything. You are looking down at he map you got yesterday when you moved in. Next thing you know you're on the ground with- wait is that coffee? ow ow OW- all over you.

"Oh my god are you okay? Wait stupid question of course you're not okay, I just split my breakfast on you. I should have been watching where I was going. I'm so sorry!" A panicked voice sputters.

you never thought someone can get so many words to fall out of their face so fast and all at once. You definitely won't make it to your class on time, since now you have to go to your dorm room across campus to change. Great.

"I-I-It's alright" you stutter in a quite voice pulling your scolding shirt away from your skin.

"No, no it's not. I'll clean it or whatever you want. I just can believe I wasn't watching where I was going. Here let me help you up." A hand comes into your line of vision and you grap it and pull yourself up. Now you finally get a chance to look at him. He's tall and tan and has an accent but you can't really place it because he just sounds really panicked right now. He's wearing a band tee and black skinny jeans. He must be a mythical creature because its like 90 degrees out here, how is he not melting? You also notice that hes kinda just your type. Wait, not the time brain! There is a socloding liquid on you, you should be thinking about cute boys.

"Well... I'm Calum. Let me help you back to your dorm." He offers.

"No, I'm okay you don't have to do that." you respond trying not to grimace from the coffee uncomfortably drying on you. This sucks, you really liked this shirt to.

"At least tell me where you were going so I can get your syllabus that you would of got today if I didn't stop you. It's the least I could do" Calum says awkwardly while scratching the back of him neck while looking at the ground.

"Sociology 101, Building 10, Room 17" you say as you turn around toward your dorm room.

You take a shower and get changed then see that you have just enough time to get you your next class if you don't get stopped again. But the universe wouldn't let that happen.

"Coffee Girl!" A familiar voice yells from across the main lawn. Calum, great. You turn around in time to once again be knock to the ground, but this time he came down too.

"We really need to stop meeting like this." you groan out because you just got the wind knocked out of you by an over sized 3-year-old. He rolls off of you. And helps you up again and helps you pick up your textbooks and pens. I start walking in the direction of my next class, and You guess he's following you because you can hear footsteps behind you.

"That's true, but I have your papers and you didn't miss much." He laughs when he catches up.

"Did you sit in for my class?" you smile. That's sweet, but he probably missed his first class. He shouldn't of done that.

"Yeah but I didn't have a class then so yeah." he chuckles. He seems in a better mood now then before which is good, You guess.

"Thank you but I need to go to my next lecture, bye Calum." You say when we get to the outside of building 8, where your Philosophy class is held.

"Can I at least get a name to fit that beautiful face?" Calum asks and you're little taken back. You're not use to being flirted with because you're a little on the shy side. You haven't said anything for a good 30 seconds and Calum's turning redder every moment, but you're probably just as red.

"Y/N." you say as I walk into the building. When the giant wooden door closes you put my back to it holding your books to your chest trying to make your face stop from looking like a tomato. When you walk away you pass a window seeing Calum walk away with a ginormous smile on his face. That's a smile that find world peace. Today had a few twists and turns, but its been pretty eventful for it only being 9 am.
