This is one that I have seen from a YouTube video so I thought I would give it a go. It is based on how boruto when he was around 2 years old and naruto is on a mission longer then he needed to be and is badly hurt by some rogue ninjas from the stone village but remembers telling a story to boruto.

Naruto pov
I was on a mission for kakashi sensei to meet up with my husband who in the note said that there were some rumours about the akatsuki base. While going there I saw some old tracks of an animal that passed by here but looked weird. When I got close I saw that the tracks looked like a dog's but like they were a summoned animal from the size. I then heard a noise like a animal was near and turn around and saw a dog the size of gamabunta, the chief toad. Then I saw a person on the dogs head which looked like the stone village symbol on the headband.
3rd pov
When naruto and the stone ninja fought another stone ninja went behind naruto and hit his neck In the pressure point. Both ninjas looked down at the son of the one who killed their father when the third ninja war was on. When they grab naruto they took him to their based and tied him up with his arms tied on a rock above his head. When naruto looked around he saw just rocks around what looked to be a cage.
Naruto pov
When I heard a sound of a key in a lock I looked at the door and saw a man in a redish undershirt with a brown vest in it with a crossed out headband on his brown hair.
"What do you want" I asked.
"I want you to pay for what your father did to my father and uncles" said the man
The man then started to punch me in the stomach and tore off my shirt and grab a kunei from off his leg pouch and press it against my skin and then stated to drag it. This went on for what felt like awhile before he step back and smiled and then left the room. I looked down and saw a lot of blood on my chest and felt it sliding down my body.
After that I went to sleep and thought of my son and sasuke back home and a moment I had to sing to boruto to sleep when sasuke left us the first time.
Flashback
Naruto pov
When I picked up my 2 year old son, I thought about last night and having to say goodbye to sasuke since he had to go on a mission. Boruto started to cry after sasuke left and I tried rocking him and carrying him but it wouldn't work so I started to hum a song that sasuke sang to boruto when he was a baby. When I notice that boruto was starting to get sleepy I started to walk around while singing the song ( remember me). When boruto went to sleep I headed to my room and went to sleep.
End flashback
3rd pov
When the men went in and saw the blonde was asleep they stated to hit and kick him until he woke up. When they notice he was awake they started to grab a kunei and drag it across naruto chest again and again. While they were hurting the blonde they didn't notice a raven coming behind them and pull his sword out and swing the sword and take their heads off. When the raven went to naruto he took him in his arms and started to put badges around the blonde's chest and carry him on his back leave the base and cage alone to return to the village.
