Chapter 5

A week later

Izuku pov

I was chased around by another underground hero tonight. Or im assuming its underground becosue ive never seen his quirk before. he could make clouds, which shouldn't be very strong, but when your face gets wrapped in a dense cloud its like trying to breath through a wet washcloth. That happened more times than I could count. Anyway tonoghts a very special night. Its the night that we save eri! Shinsou has looked into the eight precepts of death. More spisificly into overhaul. Shinsou thinks that if hecould control him, then shinsou could make him change into a hero. Im optimistic about this but when he told me about the quirk erseing bullets, I was more incined to help.

We are currnetly outside of the wearhouse that is just a little bit larger under ground with winding tunnels and many dangers quirks lay. There are two guards outside the place, both caring ARs. obvious much? I look to shinsou but hes already on it. Two empty bullet casings,and the two men fell without a sound. Once we crept in we continued to avoid camras, and silently take out guards. When we reached the fifth level, shinsou left to go find overhaul and I was sent to find eri. I knew where her room was, but it still didnt make it easy, only possible. It took around seven more minutes to find her room. I took a few steps back and pulled my sword from its sheath and charged. My blade cut through to concrett but was stoped by tick metal lineing the room. I easily sliced the hinges from the door and it fell inwards satisfieingly.

The room was bland to say the least it was painted gray with a desk, chair and bed. Curled up on the bed with a very thin white blanket was a young girl. She was wearing a thing hospital gown and had bandages covering her arms and legs.

She was cowering in the corner and shaking like a leaf. I slowly reach down and touch her long hair he flinched and pulled away so I sat down next to her. She pulled her legs to her face in fear and began to shake again. I went close to her ear and shut off my voice changer and say, "Do you want to leave?" That was enough to get her to stop shaking and look up at me in confusion. Her teary eyes showed confusion and curiosity instead of fear. I asked again and she nodded her head slowly, almost as if the offer would be taken away if she was too reckless. I smiled at her and asked, "So, whats your name then kiddo?" I know the answer but I didn't want to spook her. "Eri" It was almost a whisper but I could hear it.

I picked her up bridal style and she let out a little yelp but pulled her face into my chest. I quickly existed the room and began running from the tunnels the way I came in. I was about two thirds of the way out when a spike came from the wall. I couldn't cut it with my sword because I was caring eri. When I saw it coming towards me I lifted eri above my head and took the full blunt of the blow in my gut. It peaced my plating and stabbed into my stumic. I droped my elbow on the spike and broke it. Dispite the pain in my stomic, I continued to run out of the building or until I run into shinsou.

Shinosu stumbled into my side and continued running to my left. I spare a glance and realise that their meeting probably went as planned. We busted out of the building and didnt stop running until we hit the beach. When we got to the RV I put eri down outside, and collapsed inside on the medical bed. I could feel myself losing consciousness but before I went completely out I said to a freaking out shinsou, "i trust you to do whatever it takes for the three of us." and then black out.

Shinosu pov

I was running out of the area when I trun back and see a very pissed overhaul running at me. He is in a direct mine of sight so I pull my gun free and unload two magicians into him. He stops to deconstict himself and reconsturt himself with out the bullets. I watched as he pulled a gun out of his pocket and take a shot at me.

 I ducked under it and realsied it was the quirk erasing bullets. He pulled his phone out and put it to his ear, he cursed and tuched the wall. I was expecting to have more wall spikes come out at me but there wasnt. I took this time of mercy to say, "Who is calling you, your girlfriend?" He starts to respond but I use my quirk and his face goes limp. i stand up straight and say, "Now, turn yourself in and beg for the villain rehabilitation. Strive to be a good hero, one for the people." He nods and walks away. I sigh and think 'i should have done that earlier' and start running for the exit.

I turn a corner to see izuku holding eri and when I start running alongside him, I see a large gash in his stomach. I put together the phone call with the wound on my adopted brother and figure out that overhaul was behind it. When we arrive at the main doors, we bust through and sprint back to the RV on the beach. When we get there I told eri to stay outside until I come to get her, and if anyone else approaches her to come in. 

Izuku flops down on the bed and says, "I trust you to do whatever it takes for the three of us." He passed out after the last word, probably from blood loss. I take his vest off the see the damage, and it was bad. There was bits of conceat and metals in thegach and to make it worse it wouldnt stop bleeding no matter what I did. Thats when it hit me, I couldnt do it. But I know someone who can!

i wonder who he is talking about? I'm excited to see whats going to happen next! sorry about the long wait for the new chapter, but I just started a summer job and it's difficult to keep up with the typing and posting I've done before. I will try to get a better publishing schedule, but thats still up n the air for now. wish me luck and thanks for reading! :)
