Bumped into heaven
present
It's the first day of me officially moving into the flat I had said my goodbyes to my family, my mother in tears not because she was upset at me for leaving more because reality hit her we was all growing up. I was the baby of the family my brother only a year older, he was like the big brother in films you would watch when you was a teenager.
I gave my brother a tight squeeze "love you Mason" I said as I pulled away from the hug "love you sum sums" he said. That was the nickname he gave me since I've been a kid only my family members call me it.
I wasn't that emotional to be leaving because I knew I could go and see them whenever as they wasn't far from the flat. Other than my dad, he was a pilot so he was rarely home.I hugged my father tighter than ever as he would be going back to work after he had just had a month off work to help out at home and to sort the flat out.
I got to my car with my suitcase in hand. My suitcase which was that last of my stuff i slid onto the back seats.
I drove all the way to my flat/apartment and once I arrived I parked in a slot that was free and got my suitcase I walked through to the entrance and walked up to the women at the desk who i spoke to nicely. I took my keys and headed to the lift.
I pressed the button and the elevator came straight down as a person exited before I entered it.
I stepped in with my suitcase following behind me. I pressed a random button as I really didn't know what floor I was as my mind went blur and almost forgot everything.
I looked down at the key in hand which had the numbers 521 imprinted on it. I had pressed a higher number on the lift so that there was more of a chance someone would get into the lift a-swell.
luckily the lift stopped at level 6.
I looked up to where the lift doors opened up to
a tall beautiful boy with beautiful dark eyes his dark hair. Our eyes locked together he sent me a smile to be honest it made my stomach twirl.I didn't want to embarrass myself but at the end of the day I needed to get to my room "hi, I've just moved in and I have no idea what floor I'm on. Can you help me please" I say feelings slightly embarrassed, the boy quickly turns to me "yeah of course what key number are you?" He asks gently "521" I answer him matching his tone.
maybe I shouldn't have just revealed what exact room I was in but at that time I wasn't really thinking about it to much.
"521, that's the 5th floor" he says as he then presses the button 5 in the lift "the floor number is first number on the key, I'm on level six look" he said as he pulled out his key which had the numbers 611 imprinted.
"oh I see how it works, well thank you very much" I said as the lift stopped before I could grab my suitcase he said "Jude" sticking his hand out in front of me which I grasped onto softly "Summer" I said I looked up to him and locked onto his eyes "well I best let you get going, see you soon Jude" I say letting go of his grasp and dragging my suitcase behind me.
"hopefully I see you soon Summer"
As the door closes behind me I quickly find my room as the floor only has 2 doors I put the key into the door and unlock my room which now everything gives me flashbacks of setting up the place with my family.
However I couldn't stop thinking of that boy "Jude" the name rang a bell but I didn't look into it to much.
I don't know why but I just couldn't stop thinking about him, I don't know what made him so special I've never thought so hard about anyone else like this that I've met. There must have been something in the way he spoke or the way he said my name. There was something about the way he looked at me which made me unable to forget those dark beautiful eyes.
Maybe I'm overthinking this and being delusional we only now just met i thought to myself as I got comfortable in my new so called home.
