I think my son may be alittle different then the rest. And no. I'm not talking about the darkness in him.
When Dazai was a kid, Dazai never liked to do any physical games like you'd expect boys to do. He never got along with others except a small few. Mostly I'd like to think the more odd ones. Never once had he mentioned a female.
Maybe I am just jumping onto things. He is my son after all and I love him for whatever he does. I wish Ango would try to be more open to the idea but he just thinks I'm overthinking and "too" protective.

"He's just a kid. He hasn't even started puberty."

It was true and it did make me realize this when he came home one day after grade school. He had bruises all over and he was sniffling.

"Jesus. What happened? I'll call the school." Oda asked with concern. His heart tightened at the sight. Was his son being bullied? Well that was strange. Cause usually Dazai was the bully.
That didn't matter.
He just wanted his son to be okay.

"Some new short dickhead and I got into it during lunch.." he shoved his bag on the ground.

"Oh. Don't say dickhead." Oda said sternly before taking a sip of coffee.

"he was!" Dazai argued.

"Ok well.. instead of just starting off that way. Tell me what happened." He gently placed the mug of coffee onto the counter making a clinking sound.

"The new kid thinks he is hot shit. He needs to know exactly where he belongs. He ain't special. I hate obnoxious immature brats like him." The pre-teen rambled on, picking at his rusted bandages.

"Don't say shit. Get to the point."

"Ok. Well I ended up bumping into him and he dropped his tray and food all over. He didn't react kindly and so I made a sly comment about his height. Then he proceeded to call me an emo. Like that was original?" Dazai rolled his eyes. "So I called him an Ed Sheeran rip-off and he did not like that...Then we fought and now I'm here."

"Interesting. How come I didn't get a call then?"

He shrugged.

Oda sighed, while glancing away from his son's dead stare.

"No more starting fights. I'm serious. Ango is gonna have both our heads if this keeps going. Now let's go to the bathroom and clean those nasty wounds up and get you new bandages."

"Fine dad."

I ended up having a work party later that year for the mafia. I brought along Dazai sense Mori said it would have been fine and that there would be other children.

"I can't believe you work in such a dangerous place! It's cool!" Dazai walked in where the party was being held, looking at all the company and the inside of the headquarters.

"Dangerous isn't cool." Oda stated.

"Why hello, it's been some time Oda." Kouyou smiled gently. Her aura was such a strong yet gentle presence at the same time.

"Oh Lady Kouyou. How have you been?"

"I'm doing quite fine. Is this your son?" Her eyes darted towards Dazai's. It felt like some sort of staring competition between the two. Talking with just their pupils.

"Yes, indeed it is. Meet Dazai." Oda gently pushed him with his hand towards her.

"Nice to meet you.. Dazai. I have someone I'd like you both to meet as well. I think you'd get along great." She had turned away before she called a name. A name that was familiar to Dazai. Oda glanced at his son's expression start to twist before looking back at Kouyou, just to notice a even smaller boy with ginger locks.
