Henrik

"I'm assuming since you signed a lease, it's official?" Lucas asked as he poured us each a glass of bourbon.

"Yep, it's official bruv. I'll be out here for good next week." I said with a smile. I'd been tossing the idea of moving out to London around for a while now. It kind of made sense since I was having to come out this way for modeling shoots and promotions for Rugged Mountaineer all the time anyway. Plus, they were headquartered in London, so I'd be killing two birds with one stone and saving a ton of money on travel. I'd went and looked at some flats while I was here and had fallen in love with a studio I'd seen. It was close to everything, bars and clubs, shopping, amazing restaurants. I was excited. The more I visited London, the more I fell in love with it. I'd miss the mountains and all that, but the Isle of Wight was only four hours from there so I could always plan weekend trips to get my nature fix. Right now, this seemed like the best move for me.

Lucas let out a hearty laugh. "It's going to be amazing with you being so close, mate. This is the best news I've heard all day."

"Don't be a melt, bruv." I chuckled.

"How did Chloe take it? Have you told her you're moving yet?" He asked, sliding a glass in front of me. I picked it up and took a swig of the dark liquid.

"Yea, she was cool with it. I mean, I didn't think she'd have a problem with it anyway since we're kinda just fuck buddies."

Lucas nods as he brings the glass to his lips. "Where's it at?"

"Whitney Borough. It's really nice, bruv. Lots of shops and bars and shit."

A small smirk played at the corner of Lucas' lips as he shook his head, letting out a laugh.

"What? What's so funny?" I asked, puzzled.

"Hey boys!" Chelsea's upbeat voice chimed as she strode across the room. She pulled Lucas towards her as she wrapped her arms around his waist, placing a soft kiss on his lips.

"Hey, kitten." He said, running his hand down the length of her back.

"Hey Chels." I smiled at her as I took another sip of my bourbon.

Lucas motioned towards me. "Henrik here's made it official. He signed a lease."

"Ohmygod! That's so exciting!" She exclaimed as she made her way around the bar, giving me a tight hug. "It's gonna be so nice having you close by!"

"Thanks, I'm pretty excited."

"Tell her where the place is, Henrik." Lucas said with a smirk.

I cleared my throat as I eyed him, unsure as to what was so funny. "Whitney Borough."

Chelsea broke into a fit of giggles as she clapped her hands. "That's amazing! Brooklyn lives there, ya know?"

I felt the blood drain from my face. "You're kidding, right?"

"Nope. Small world." She smiled. "Maybe it's fate telling you that you're destined to be together? What are the odds that you'd be moving to her neighborhood?"

"Chelsea, please. We've been over this already. I'm not interested. I've been down that road. It's not happening."

"Well geez, you make it sound like she's the antichrist or something, Henrik." Chelsea said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

I let out a sigh as I ran my hands through my hair. "No, it's not that. I'm just not going there with her aga..."

"Since we're on the subject of Brooklyn now... I wasn't gonna say anything because she'd asked me not to, but you shouldn't have been so rude to her the other night." Chelsea nodded, staring at me pointedly.
