Chapter 1 Starting a Family

CATRA AND ADORA return to their cozy room in Bright Moon. They look happy after attending Scorpia's first Princess Prom. Adora opens the door. She is full of join as she enters. "Wow, that party was so much fun. Did you have fun, Catra?" Adora asked. Catra walks in from behind, putting one hand on the side of the door with a smirky look. "I was until Entrapta let Emily cause a rampage on the dance floor." Adora chuckled.

As Adora entered the room. Catra, standing by the door, took a deep breath. Excited and nervous, she mustered the courage to speak the words in her heart.

"Hey, Adora... There is something I have to tell you." Catra said, her voice filled with anticipation.

Adora turned to face Catra, as she furrowed her brow, and asked, "What is it, Catra?"

Catra walks up to Adora. She grabs both of her hands. A smile gradually spread across Catra's face, accompanied by a soft glow in her eyes. "Adora," she said, her voice trembling with emotion, "I'm...I'm pregnant. We're gonna have a baby." Adora's heart skipped a beat at the announcement.

"Oh my gosh, Catra, you...you are?" A mix of joy, surprise, and love flooded over her. She couldn't contain her excitement as she pulled her into an embrace. "Oh, Catra! This is incredible news," Adora exclaimed, her eyes welling up with tears of joy. "We're going to be parents together!" She presses her forehead on Catra's, with their eyes closed. We're going to become mothers!"

Adora opened her eyes and pulled her forehead away from Catra's. "But...but what if something terrible happens!?" Adora said as she was worried. "What if we can't protect them, or what will happen if they know about our past!?" Catra reaches her hand out and holds Adora's cheeks. Trying to calm her down. "Adora, it's ok. They don't have to know about our past. Nothing will change our kid's destiny as long as we are around for them." Adora smiles. She holds Catra's hand, pressing it on her cheek while still in tears. "Do you promise that we will never tell them?" Adora asked. "I promise." Catra says. They both leaned in and kissed. They embrace each other again. They are so happy to start a family together.

"I love you, Adora. And I always will."

"I love you too, Catra."

Fifteen years later. Etheria is better than ever after the war with Horde Prime. At Bright Moon, someone is knocking on someone's door. Adora is knocking on the door. She then opens the door. "Finn?" Adora says. But no one asked. As the room is quiet, too quiet. She enters. "Finn, where are you?" Finn appears from behind and jumps on Adora's back.

"HEY, MOM!"

"Ahhhhhh!" Adora screams.

She landed on the floor while Finn was crouching on her back.

"Oh...sorry about that, Mom, are you hurt?"

"It's ok, Finn. I'm fine."

Adora rolls her eyes back at Finn. "But why would you jump on me?" Finn gets off her back. Standing up and holding their hands behind them while swinging their tail. They have long blonde hair. Blue eyes like Adora and fur color like Catra. Wearing a red bandanna on their neck. A sleeveless shirt, short dark brown pants, a light brown leg strap pocket, bandages on both feet, strapless chest binder, and wearing fingerless brown gloves.

"Mama told me that she used to jump on you a lot when you two were my age." Finn says with a happy smile on their face. Adora gets up from the ground. Using both hands to crack her back.

"Oh, really..." Adora says.

"Well...she shouldn't have told you that!" she says disappointedly.

Finn's ears drop, and they look upset.
