FINN, FLORA, AND ZEINA were engaged in an exhilarating game of tag in Mystacor. They raced through the grand corridors of the ancient castle, laughter echoing in their wake. With her nimble fingers, Flora stretched out her hand to tag Zeina.
"I'm gonna tag you, Zeina!"
"At least one of us can magically get away!"
"Quick, Flora, tag her!" says Finn while running on all four's. Sprinting like a sport vehicle. But in a sudden twist, Zeina invoked her magical powers to vanish into thin air. Gasping in surprise, Flora was done away with, whisked away by Zeina's magical abilities.
"Hey, wait for me!" says Finn.
Until Finn, who possessed a keen sense of curiosity, stumbled upon a magnificent statue of Shadow Weaver towering above them. The statue's solemn presence piqued Finn's interest, and they stood there, gazing up at the imposing figure with a furrowed brow. "Whoa." Lost in their own contemplation, Finn almost didn't notice Castaspella appearing beside them.
"Hello there? Are you lost, little one?" Castaspella says.
Startled, Finn turned to face her, their curiosity peaking further.
"Uh, No, I'm just looking at this statue." Finn responds.
They couldn't help but ask, "Who was she?" Their voice was filled with genuine interest, eager to learn more about this mysterious person. She revealed that Shadow Weaver was once a formidable sorceress who wielded her dark powers in the name of evil.
"She was one of the most dangerous sorcerers Etheria has ever seen, Shadow Weaver."
"Shadow Weaver?" Finn says.
She explained her connection to Shadow Weaver, the powerful sorceress who once wielded darkness and fear. Finn listened intently, their fascination growing with each passing word. The tales of Shadow Weaver's past deeds and transformation piqued their curiosity even more. But it was when Castaspella mentioned She-Ra, the legendary hero who had helped lead the rebellion against the forces of evil.
"But it was long until She-Ra helped the rebellion to fight back."
"My mom?!" Finn says quietly. "What do you mean to fight back?"
"Your mother, Adora, joined the princess alliance to fight against Hordak's empire. She was also raised by Shadow Weaver back in the Fright Zone."
Wide-eyed and shocked, Finn listened intently as Castaspella mentioned their mother, Adora, was raised at the Fright Zone. Finn was so surprised that their eyes began to look tight, like when cats get mad.
"What?!" Finn says.
"Hey... are you ok?" Castaspella says.
Finn hid their mad looks away from her and acted like they were fine. "Yeah... I'm ok. I... I gonna go now." Finn starts to walk away to find Flora and Zeina.
"Oh... well, ok? It was nice meeting you." Castaspella says as her voice sounds like she said something wrong to Finn.
Feeling overwhelmed, Finn decided to step outside and take a moment to absorb everything they had just learned. Walking aimlessly, they allowed their thoughts to swirl and connect as they tried to make sense of the revelations that unfolded before them.
"Mom never said anything about fighting in a war. And even if she did, she would have told me. Wouldn't she?"
Just as Finn was lost in their thoughts, Flora and Zeina, their companions, returned. Flora's face lit up at the sight of Finn, happiness evident in her eyes.
"There you are, Finn. Sorry, we took so long. Zeina teleported us so far away she used all her magic to bring us back here." Flora says.
Zeina, on the other hand, could barely catch her breath, her hands on her knees as she panted heavily. "I don't feel so good!?"
Noticing the change in Finn's mood, Flora's smile faded as she approached them. Concern washed over her features. "Are you okay, Finn?" she asked gently, her voice laden with care. Finn's guard dropped for a moment, and their true emotions began seeping through. They hesitated, realizing that they couldn't fool Flora. But just as quickly, Finn shifted their mood, putting on a brave face and acting like everything was fine. They didn't want to burden their friends with their worries just yet.
"Uh.... Yeah, I'm fine. I have just been looking at these statues and learned something very interesting."
"See, I told you coming here was worth it. You learn something new every day." Zeina says.
"I think we had enough fun for today." Flora says.
While Zeina lay on the ground, trying to catch her breath after their intense training session, Finn couldn't resist teasing her playfully.
"Come on, Pinkie, let's go!"
"Shut up, Blondie!! Ju... just give me, uh... uh, few more minutes!" Zeina says.
It was Finn's way of lightening the heavy thoughts that temporarily clouded their mind. Nevertheless, Finn's curiosity about what Castaspella had mentioned in the corridors lingered. It ate at them, begging to be satisfied. Without speaking out loud, they started talking only inside their head where no one could hear them.
"I must know more about this war. It makes sense why my mom was shocked when Mama mentioned the Fright Zone. Unless she had something to do with it?"
They knew they needed answers and wouldn't rest until they had them. With a determined glint in their eye, Finn will visit someone who might have the answers.
