AMIDST the cold winters of Snezhnaya, the Zapolyarny palace was seen from afar— it was a landscape known by all of Tevyat where members in a certain organization resided; the Fatui. In one of it's hundreds of rooms, a window with white frame like all the others had an exceptional detail to it. A girl was seen in it, staring out onto the white snow that sorrounded the area.
You'd think she was a noble invited by one of the fatui harbingers themselves (not that it was a lie), an elegant, calculated woman who was deemed responsible and was respected throughout all of the seven nations. A woman who thought of all her decisions and was arranging her schedule right now, the schedule to venture all of Tevyat.
If you assumed that, you are wrong.
She was reckless, careless of her own decisions. If you knew of her actual self, you'd think she was the most stupid humans to ever exist— she was.. silly.
She was unserious when it came to her life, she was known to be a person who laughed in serious discussions, situations. She seemed to be a person who did not care of her life. She was not a person to be assigned ruler-like roles, nor was she to be trusted when it came to important missions.
Currently, she's thinking about her decisions. Regrets, maybe.
Mistakes as well.
Her first mistake was opening a door,
Second was opening a door,
Third was opening a door and following a stranger.
She wondered what did she do to doors to deserve this.
Her arm twitched lightly before she glanced at it, analyzing the mechanic materials installed in it. She wondered why she trusted a harbinger to fix her. After all, every situation that led her to be in this helpless situation was led by a fatui harbinger.
All that talk about worshipping the Tsaritsa and how you'd follow her orders when you've broken them already.
She wondered why she deserved this.
The Tsaritsa's being more aggresive nowadays..
I wonder what happened.
You were not updated with the latest gossip around Inazuma, seeing that you were stuck here in a room that sorrounded enemies with every corner of the hallway.
You looked out the window, analyzing the sight before it. It was a foggy one, snow was everywhere. You wondered if this country has ever experienced the feeling of heat, seeing how cold it was.
Well, you were definitely gonna experience heat in your arm.
After all, this is what you call a —
An hour has passed.
You're honestly just waiting for your very demise now.
Gears turned continuously in your arms as it dimly lit up with a yellow color from time to time.
You can't remember how many times you've gone around the room, trying to analyze the room and look for clues.
What am I? That famous detective from Inazuma?
You sighed along as you watched, watched and watched. Watched the birds in the sky fly and soar high, watched the sun's light pass through your window, watched snow fall down the very grounds of Snezhnaya, watched your arm slowly lead you towards your end.
You were stupid enough to trust a harbinger, let alone one that followed the Tsaritsa with will. You had trusted a harbinger in the past, The Knave; but in fairness, that harbinger would not hold any loyalty to the Tsaritsa if she was given the chance. She'd betray the Archon the very second it threatened her.
Two hours had passed and you heard the doorknob rattle, signalling that someone was trying to open it. You sighed along, opening the door as you looked at the fatui agent.
"The Knave wishes to see you."
