Why was I letting Jean into my house? I don't know! I just said, come on in. Why did I do that? Oh- I think I have feelings for Jean. Well... that's interesting... I never thought of Jean like this. Well, not entirely. Before my father died, I had a crush on Jean, but that was so long ago that I'd never even thought of it again until now.
I was sitting on my couch around 11pm when Jean walks in. She was tired. Very. She stumbled when she walked in. I could tell she wasn't drunk, but she was obviously a little delirious. Luckily earlier today she dropped her suitcase off while I was working.
"Hey Diluc," she says staring at my couch
"Hey," I say turning the channel on the tv
I scoot over on the couch to make room for her. She sits down and just passes out. I keep watching the tv, but all of a sudden I feel something on my shoulder. I notice Jean's head laying on my shoulder. Geez. Now I can't go to my bed. Ehhh, screw it. I lightly pick her head up off my shoulder, and lay her down. I go to my room and go to bed. I change to my black sweatpants, a red tee.

I wake up to smell a really good smell. Is that... an Adventurers Breakfast Sandwich. Those things are kind of hard to make...
"Um... you didn't have to do this," I say
"I wanted to do it," she says kind if harsh, her cheeks getting kind of red
"Alright, thanks though," I say grabbing one of the two, then sitting on the couch turning on my favorite tv show.
What's going on in Teyvat? The announcer says. It's like the news, but over expressive. One time the Dark Night Hero was on it, personally, that was my favorite one.
"Jean Gunnhildr is taking a break from the knights, some believe-," I turn the tv off
"Tv's stupid," I decide to actually sit at the table, "So, how long did Varka tell you to take off?"
"A week to a month, I don't want to take a whole month off, so I'll probably just take the week then get straight back to work."
"You need to rest, as much as I hate to admit it, Varka's right. Honestly, if I were in his situation I would force you to take the month, I mean, what's good if you're overworked and not well rested. You can't properly defend Mondstadt if you're about to pass out," I state
"Well... I just really want Mondstadt to be safe and all..." she looks down kind of guilty
Well, now I feel bad. Still, I didn't like how she was always overworked and stuff. It doesn't mean I like her. I just care for her in a friend way. I- I only liked her as a friend. Not a female who loves me. Ha, no females love me.
"So... uhhh... what are you doing tonight?" Jean asks breaking the silence
"Probably going to end up taking a shift at Angels Share," I say not really excited, "What are you doing?"
"Nothing, I don't really have much of a life outside of the knights, hate to admit it," she takes a bite out of her sandwich
"Well you can come by Angels Share if you want. Just maybe around 11:00. Not many people stay until then." I say starting to chew on my bite
"You asking me out on a date?" She giggles
I choke on my bite. I hadn't even thought of that.
"Not necessarily," I explain, "It'll just be a hangout between two old friends,"
"That's what they all say," she muttered her voice getting more high pitched every word.
"Excuse me?"
"Nothing. Not a date," she promises
"Not a date."

Later that night I took the late shift for Angels Share. I put my hair high up and had on a bartender outfit. There was one drunk guy left. He usually left right when I said he had to.
  "Gotta go," I stated
"But, *hiccup* it's a bAr," he raises his glass to nothing but air
"Go."
"FiNe," he leaves, "mAybe iF i gO oUt tHE baCk WayS I won'T bE cAuGht drUnk." He mutters exiting the bar
Some blue haired guy enters. Ugh. It's Kaeya.
"What?" I question
"Why's Jean sleeping at your place?"
"Does it matter to you?" I clean the last few bottles
"I have said I'm a curious soul haven't I?"
I try to not listen to him, but he starts tapping my shoulder.
"Kaeya, go somewhere else." I notice the time. 10: 49. Cutting it close.
"Fine, but I will find out," he waves and exits the tavern

Around ten minutes later Jean comes in.
"Hey," she said wearing her sky blue outfit like when she got drunk
"Do you plan on getting drunk again?" I chuckle
"No, but I thought I'd dress decently," she looks at me. Her eyes had a glare in them. Very nice and calming.
We talk for a few minutes and she has one half of a drink.
"So, how's the business?" She asks her face kind of red
"Really good, I love using drunks to get their money," I joke
She laughed. I could almost feel her stress go away.
"How are the Knights, you know... without me?"
"Haha, very funny, they are good actually. There's no huge problem, so they're getting a little break." She lets out a breath
I had an urge. I wasn't sure if I should go with it or not. I mean I've liked this girl for a while, so should I go with it? Oh what the heck. Why not?
I grab her chin, my thumb on one side and the rest of my fingers on the other side.
"What's wrong with you?" She tries to yell
I kiss her. A very nice kiss. She wraps her arms around my neck and I release her chin grabbing her waist. It was very nice.
She pulls away, "What was that for?" She asked very calm
"Just an urge," I answer. She kisses me again.
"What was that for?" I ask
"I guess we are both having urges," she says, "Does this mean we're dating?"
"Don't tell Kaeya."
"Don't tell Barbara."
