01 | 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐟𝐞 [Fixed]

You had just finished working at your office, it was already 9PM by then. You were pissed off as your boss told you to work overtime for the 3rd time this week, and you've been coming home late because of that. But the good thing that came out of overtime is that you're getting paid a bit more for it, your work salary was already shitty and you would do anything to get extra cash so this was good enough.

You were now In front of your office building as you sighed and looked at your phone tiredly, the bright screen showing "09.13". Fuck, how am I supposed to get home now? You thought to yourself as you unlocked your phone to see your bank account in shambles. Your bank account showed incredibly small numbers, showing you how you're only left with $30.10 for the rest of the week. The pain stung your heart as you closed your phone with a sigh of disappointment. You thought about getting a taxi but then again, at this hour most taxis that were available are too expensive, subways and trains weren't near your workplace either. At this point, you're going to walk home.

After a few minutes of thinking, you finally gave in to your thoughts as you made the decision to walk your way back home. Luckily for you, you're passing by a rather crowded area of your city. Multiple nightclubs with flickering led lights were common around this area but you never had the chance to enter, considering the fact that it was out of your budget.

You wandered around the crowded areas, multiple restaurants and cafes were open, but of course, they were all out of your budget. Damn, at this point everything over the price tag over $5 will be called expensive for you. You silently regretted the decision of buying the new Iphone that barely had any upgrades. As you were regretting your past decisions in your head, you didn't notice how you were stopping Infront of a cafe and that a man was trying to talk to you.

"-ister?" The voice finally brought you back to reality as you shook off your thoughts and looked at the owner of the voice. There, you saw a ginger haired man that was a bit taller than you wearing...a maid outfit!?

What? What kind of marketing strategy is this!? You knew some horny bastard would like this kind of stuff but really??

As you were lost in your thoughts again, the ginger haired man spoke yet again. "Mr? Are you okay?" The taller male asked worriedly, at this point he was standing pretty close to you as you finally snapped out of your thoughts.

"Huh?" You said, completely confused and oblivious to the fact that the ginger is trying to promote something to you. The ginger looked at your slightly smaller figure with his ocean-like eyes, not knowing what he was feeling behind those eyes. You felt a slight shiver run down your spine as it was quite intimidating but you could tell he meant no harm.

The man seemed to notice your uncomfortable reaction towards him being so close to you as he pulled away quickly with an apologetic look "Ah, sir.. I was just wondering if you'd like to visit our Maid Cafe. The prices are cheap! We provide both food and drinks, and also some special services!" The ocean eyed man said brightly, his reaction changed 180⁰ as he was smiling oh so beautifully towards you as you were mesmerized by the sight you were seeing. It was pretty poetic but, you really did think he was pretty. Is it weird to see a man as beautiful?

The man seemed to notice your quietness as he blinked his long pretty lashes as he stared at you yet again "Sir..? Would you like to visit us?" He asked the 2nd time, his sweet honey-like voice rang in your ears as you finally replied to him. "Ah? Why, uh..yes, I would love to?" You said awkwardly, not even sure of what you're agreeing to as you didn't even hear what the other man was saying, you just agreed to whatever he talked about.

The man nodded happily as he led you inside of the Cafe you were in front of. "For your information, this is a maid cafe. I hope you're okay with that?" The man asked as he walked on the wooden floor, his heels clacking loudly every time he took a step. The Cafe was quite big as its walls and floor were painted with the blue and purple lights, seemingly eye straining for you. The loud music could be heard as it was just like a nightclub (from the information you knew told by your friends), the flashing lights really made your eyes strain but you guess the colors are pretty? It was quite a fancy Maid Cafe, from the tables and the cushioning on the couches, the decors were what struck your he most. You looked at the ceiling that was painted with colorful lights too as you saw a magnificent chandelier. You were stunned, why use all these flashy lights when you have something so expensive!? You don't even want to know how overpriced the food was, you juts prayed to God you could afford 1 single thing in the menu.
