A quiet groan escapes Candice's lips as Kol taps her awake, "what is it?" She sits up slowly, "it's for you love," he said, handing her the phone and lying back down. "Who is it?" Candice asked, holding the phone to her ear rather than putting it on speaker cause Kol would listen in anyways. "It's Elijah. Where are you?" The Original spoke through the phone. Candice glances at a knowing Kol in slight confusion. "Uhh, we're in Louisiana right now. Why? What's going on?"
Elijah sighs heavily, glancing around at the others, "It's too much to explain. Just know, Esther made Alaric into a vampire hunter just like Mikael," he says. Candice rubbed her head, already so annoyed about Esther even being alive, "and I'm supposed to be scared of a vampire hunter because?" Elijah held the urge to roll his eyes, she was always so stubborn, "because, Alaric has the same strength as all of us combined, and is unkillable."
Candice shares a look with Kol, knowing exactly where this was headed. "No. You're not suggesting what I think you are, are you?" Candice clenched her fist, angry at the idea. "I'm sorry, Candice. Myself, Rebekah and Kol have all come to an agreement. Though I suppose there is something you can do to prevent this." Candice sighs, hating where this was all going, "How fast do I need to be there, Elijah?"
"Immediately. I'll text you the rest of the details. Get here now, and only you." Elijah insisted firmly before he hung up, looking at Elena, Stefan, Seth and Matt. "She'll be here soon." Matt Donavan didn't seem so convinced. "What if she doesn't get here in time?" Matt asks.
"Then we stick to the original plan. But, if she does, I have no doubt she can siphon every drop of magic in Alaric's body to the very point of desiccation. If she can't siphon him, she will find a way to deal with him." Elijah explains to the group, having such confidence in the woman. Seth Lockwood furrows his brows, "Let's say Candice can take this guy's magic. It's dark magic. Is that even safe? Like am I the only one actually concerned about her life?" He theorizes, looking at the group who only seemed to care that Klaus would stay dead.
