The next morning, Elena, Stefan, Seth, and Damon are in the kitchen of the Gilbert house. "It was their mother Esther who was sealed in that coffin," Elena explained, leaning against the counter. Seth leaned against the fridge away from the vampires that he clearly hated but would withstand them for Candice, mainly just Damon because he despised Stefan.
"As in the Original Witch?" Stefan asks, making Seth roll his eyes. "Yes the original witch, what else?" He says sarcastically, Stefan rolled his eyes and ignored him whilst Damon let out a small amused chuckle. "What? How is she even alive? Thought her hybrid freak show of a son ripped her heart out a thousand years ago."
"I don't know. I'm guessing she has a couple connections in the witching community. Elijah said that she wants to live in peace with her family, including Klaus." She said, Seth looks down, he wanted the originals dead more than anything. Klaus especially for making him and his brother into hybrid freak shows, he was blessed that he was no longer sired to Klaus.
"She was supposed to be the weapon to help us kill Klaus," Stefan stated angry and furious about the whole situation, knowing his plan ultimately failed once again.
"Well, not anymore...at least not according to Elijah."
"That coffin was the only thing stopping Klaus from tearing us to shreds." Stefan stated the obvious, Seth scoffed and sat down on the counter beside Elena who leaned against it. "Anyone else feeling a little used right now?" Damon raised his hand, Seth nodded in agreement and raised his hand, high fiving Damon with a smirk.
"Look, Elijah promised me that his family wouldn't hurt any of us. I believe him. And besides, Candice wouldn't let them according to what Caroline told me last night about her. Despite the lying, she does care about us. Let me correct that, she cares about Damon and Seth, and Care. " Seth looked to Elena hearing that, he wasn't informed about that.
