MYSELF (AGAIN) <3:

this update is a bit different than usual. with across the spiderverse out, i have been desperate to make my own spidersona, so i decided to take up digital drawing for the first time. i'm very much out of my element and i have to admit that i've done a fair amount of tracing to practice anatomy (only bases and reference photos, never anyone's published artwork).
my spidersona, spider-mimic, is inspired by the species of spiders that are able to mimic other creatures, such as ladybird spiders and false widows. scarlett is able to mimic the appearance of other people and things, including other spider-people and even deceased loved ones 👀
i plan to make more artwork of her and maybe even expand on her design/backstory in the future.

and finally my masterpiece. i'm literally so proud of this bc as an artist, i'm still very much a beginner, but this turned out so good? i did grace the base photo for anatomy reference, but otherwise, i did everything else on my own. this took me about 7 hours (6:48) total split between two days and i literally love it. i might post the playback later if i can screen record it all
