HAPPY NEW YEAR'S!! 🎉
i hope everyone has had a great year and i wish you an even better one for 2023!!

i haven't posted in a while, but since it's the new year, i wanted to do a progress check inspired by the one that VRPond did to showcase her skills throughout the years. i hope you don't mind that i stole your idea, i just wanted to try it for myself!

i started making graphics in late 2020, early 2021 as i became more interested in writing and posting fics. i used mainly picsart, phonto, and polarr to make my graphics, and followed tutorials i found on wp and youtube to practice. obviously, these are graphics of a beginner.

in like mid to late 2021, i became obsessed with making marvel and star wars covers, using more faceclaims and brighter colors. i still used the same apps, but i think i was becoming more confident with my skill here

in 2022, i was introduced to ibis paint x. it was really difficult for me to use at first as i was using it on mobile (just my fingers, no pen), but i think this was a turning point in my experience, as i continued to improve from this point on

these are the most recent covers i have made as of 2022, some of which are from over the summer and others that were made within the past few months. i am a huge fan of bright and saturated colors, which i have been experimenting with a lot lately as you can see.
i really hate to brag and talk highly of myself, but i am incredibly proud of the progress i have made in the past 2-3 years when it comes to graphics.
