Chapter 2: "Amy's loneliness"

Amy had gotten home. She sighed and walked in, she placed her hammer on the table and tried to relax. "It's okay Amy, why are you caring about Shadow? He tried to destroy us! Importantly our beloved sonic!"

Said a voice in her head, Amy picked up a photo she had taken with Sonic. She was smiling and giving him kisses, while sonic was moping about it. "What do you mean, 'beloved Sonic!' He never loved us.. all he ever cared about was his speed and egg man's defeats! Sometimes I wonder... was sonic behind all my problems. Did he pay off eggman to kidnap me all those times, just so he could be the hero of the story.. when truly, eggman was just a good man."

She sighed and destroyed the photo. She then found while she was organizing her home, she found a picture that she and shadow took.

Amy smiled and laughed, while she looked at the picture. It was taken a couple years ago. (In the sonic and the black knight game)

Amy was dressed as the lady of the lake, while shadow was dressed as Lancelot. They were having tea and biscuits together and they both smiled.

that was the first time She had actually seen him smile. She then began to realize, that she was on the wrong side. She should be on Shadows side..

then another thing hit her, She realized that Shadow was the only one that truly cared about her wellbeing. "Why did the good times have to end?"

She placed the picture above her fireplace, but then it fell do to a certain hedgehog pounding on the door.

Sonic walked in seeing Amy get cut with glass from the picture frame. "Amy get away from that!" He sped to her and got her away from the broken glass. "Phew! That was a close one!"

Amy shoved Sonic away from her, going back to pick up the glass shards. She began to cry! "YOU BASTARD!! THAT WAS MY FAVORITE PICTURE, with a hedgehog that ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT ME!!"

Sonic looked confused. "Amy, I care about you!" He then saw her coming towards him with the photo of him and her she stepped on!

"I am done chasing after you, after all I have done for you! You weren't truly my friend. You just cared about being the hero in your pathetic world. Get out of my house!"

Sonic looked at the photo. "Amy I.. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings!"

Amy growled. "I SAID GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" was all she said and then shoved sonic out of her home.

Sonic tries to get back in. "AMY PLEASE, LET ME EXPLAIN!!" Amy then said. "There's nothing that can explain your cocky 'hero' attitude!"

Sonic sighed, looking down at the photo, he only frowned because the flash was on.
But Amy wouldn't let him explain. Because he knew, she was right. He let his tears fall from his eyes and onto the photo, and ran off to his friends.

Amy finally picked up all the glass pieces from the frame and sighed.. putting a new glass frame into the heart-shaped picture frame.

She was crying, knowing the actual truth behind her relationship with Sonic was just a bloody faced lie. She laid in her hammock bed, falling asleep.

It was until a couple hours later, Amy was fast asleep and shadow got into her house. He looked at her sleeping and sighed. "Why must he put her into so much pain.."

Shadow then looked at the picture. "Why did the good times really have to end." He smiled. "This was our favorite picture, we ever took together. She brings what is left of my good.. back out of me!"

Shadow walked over to the sleeping rose, and carefully caressed her cheek, And kissed her head. "I care about you Rose.. and I always will."

He sighed, he didn't want to leave her alone like this. But he can't be spotted, or else he'd lose his Special Rose!

He whispered in her ear. "I have to go Rose, if I'm found.. you'll be in danger"

He smiled and wrote a letter to leave for Amy as soon as she woke up. He then placed it on the table and teleported off once again!
