(On Hold) Sidekick (A Bucky and Loki fanfic)

Trouble

~Loki~
"Hands in the air!!" an agent shouted. "Were we can see them!!" I glanced at Bucky, checking to see if he was ok, but he wasn't. I had to get him out of here soon as possible. "Listen, " I began. "You guys already have trouble on your hands, just let me get my partner, and then we'll leave. Ok?" I insisted. "HANDS IN THE AIR!!" He bellowed as he pointed his gun on my head. "There is no pleasing you mortals, is there?" I hissed as I yanked the gun away from his hands. "Stop!!" another agent yelled as he tried to shoot me. "That isn't gonna work." I smiled as I grabbed him by the neck. throwing him towards the others, knocking them out. "C'mon Bucky, let's go." I offered as I helped him up.

~Bucky~
I heard Loki's voice speak quietly, but I couldn't quite make out what he was saying. I felt him pick me up and carry me through the halls. I guess he's looking for the jet, I thought. He won't find it. I sent it off. I'd be long gone by now. There was a sudden shout. "HALT! STAY WHERE YOU ARE!" Without hesitation, Loki jumped off to the side and sat me down. Now with my head up, I could see something. Loki was now crouched down by the wall peaking around the corner. I tried to move, but it was impossible. Loki's attention was still turned when a man I didn't know took hold of me and hit me on the head. I blacked out. The last thing I remember was watching Loki defending me. I would never forget that, or so I thought.

~Loki~
"Let go of him!!" I hollered as I punched the agent's face, leaving him unconscious on the floor. "Bucky!" I whispered, slapping his face. He didn't answer. Instead, he was laying on the floor, drooling. "If you don't come out in ten seconds, we'll shoot you!!" The agent yelled as he came closer, counting down. "Are you threatening me?!" I snapped as I walked away from were I was hiding. The agent became silent. "Cause I think your threatening me, and I don't like it!!" I teased as I got closer to him, leaving him scared. "I - I..." He hesitated. "You what?" I laughed as I grabbed his arm. I could tell he was scared, dripping sweat and shaking. I took the gun away from him and whispered in his ear. "Now listen, you pathetic mortal. If you try to shoot me, or my partner here. I will kill you. Slowly and painfully, understand?" He shock his head vigorously, hoping I would let go of him, so he could run away. I did. And with that, I picked up Bucky and headed to the trapdoor.
