The morning dawned with a gentle golden light filtering through the curtains.

After a quiet breakfast, Prince Taehyung found himself in the Queen's chambers, engaging in pleasant conversation about their respective kingdoms.

Sensing that Taehyung might be growing weary of palace, the Queen had an idea. "My dear, would you like a tour of our kingdom? I believe a change of scenery would do you well," she suggested.

Taehyung, who had always enjoyed exploring new places, nodded appreciatively. "That sounds wonderful."

The Queen smiled and called for her son.

It wasn't long before Jungkook appeared, his presence as lively as ever. "Yes, Eomma?" he inquired.

"My dear, would you be so kind as to escort Prince Taehyung around our kingdom? It seems he could use a breath of fresh air," she requested gently.

Jungkook glanced at Taehyung, who was already gazing in his direction, and offered a polite smile.

"As you wish, Your Grace. Prince Taehyung, I trust my company will be agreeable to you."

Taehyung smiled almost instinctively. "It would be my pleasure to accompany you, Jungkookie."

The name rolled off his tongue with such ease that it caught both of them off guard.

Jungkook blinked in surprise. He wasn't accustomed to anyone outside his eomma and appa calling him by that name. It was always 'Prince' or 'Your Highness'-never something so personal.

And.. for Taehyung, the nickname had slipped out as if it had always been there, waiting to be spoken.

Perhaps it was because he'd overheard it within the palace walls, or maybe because there was something about the younger prince that invited such familiarity. It wasn't typical for men of their status to use nicknames, especially not between princes, but with Jungkook, it just felt... right. Perhaps it was because Jungkook was younger, like a dongsaeng, or maybe it was simply because the younger prince was cute. However, he was never into in cute thingies..

The two princes set out for their tour of the Kingdom of Moonlight.

Jungkook suggested they walk rather than ride, hoping they might better appreciate the beauty of their surroundings. "Prince Taehyung, if it pleases you, I believe a walk would allow us to better take in the splendor of the palace grounds on this fine day."

Taehyung, momentarily captivated by the light in Jungkook's eyes, found himself nodding. "Indeed, I would find that most enjoyable. And please, call me Taehyung."
