Cookies!🍪

We got back to our dorms after detention, Melanie still holding me. I looked up at her face. She was so beautiful it made me smile.
"I don't know if I can keep all of these secrets from Melanie, and stay this close to her." I thought, my heart beat fluttering up and down. I jumped off of her at the thought.
"T-Thank you M-Mel." I said with a smile.
"It was my pleasure." Melanie said with a goofy voice.

Here's a little background check on me. My mum has never been around, always drunk or gone. So I've learned to cook for myself. I was hoping to go to a culinary college in the future.

"What should we make for dinner?" I asked as I was washing my hands.
"Cookies!" Melanie giggled like a little kid and she clasped her hands together, jumping up and down excitedly.
"Melli we cant have cookies for dinner!" I said sort of laughing. She frowned and was pouting on the couch. I couldn't resist her.
"FINE I'll make cookies after dinner." I said as I started to boil water.
"What are you making?" She asked with a goofy smile.
"Spaghetti aglio e olio. It's a garlic, spicy pasta dish. AND ITS SO EASY MAY I ADD."
She giggled as I said that, and my heart leaped.
"A-And then I'll make-"
"Cookies!" Melanie interrupted and jumped ontop of me. I giggled and caught her in my arms, her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck.
"Melanie!?" I said in surprise while laughing and giggling.
"I love cookies!" She squealed with a big smile, hugging me as I spun her around in my arms.
"Let's start the cookies while we wait for the water to boil!" I smiled and I set her down.

We then started to make the dough. Melanie mostly took over as she poured flour, sugar, eggs, butter, and-
"Put more chocolate chips!" I yelled as I hit the bag from the bottom and dumped most of the whole thing into it. Melanie's jaw dropped.
"Y/N!" She spoke loudly as she looked at me, surprised and probably a little mad. My jaw dropped and I started to giggle. I crossed one of my arms and covered my mouth with the other as I was laughing so hard. Melanie shoved my shoulder while giggling. I started to laugh as I pulled some of the chocolate chips out of the pile. I shoved one in Melanie's mouth as we were both giggling. I opened my eyes to see Melanie smiling at me. I smiled at her.
"What?" I giggled with a wide smile. She jumped onto me again and I thankfully caught her. Her hands were around my shoulders as I held onto her legs.
"Melanie!?" I yelled as I giggled from shock. Just then she put some cookie dough on her finger and ate it.
"EXCUSE ME HOE I CANT HAVE YOU GETTING SALMONELLA." I laughed.
"Y-Y/N?" She questioned. She then became super flustered. I became confused and looked at her with raised eyebrows.
"A-About the s-sleepover? I..."
Just then Celeste and Magnolia came out from Celeste's room.
"OH MY GOD YOU GUYS ARE BACK!" They said running to hug us.
"That was the WORST!" I said as I hugged them back.
"You don't even wanna KNOW the shit we had to do." Melanie spoke.
"I'm so sorry guys. NOT TO BLAME ANYONE." Celeste said, staring at Magnolia.
"But HOWEVER. SOMEONE picked up floor spaghetti and started a fight with Kelly, so we couldn't come help you." Celeste giggled, causing Melanie and I to laugh and Magnolia looked embarrassed.
"I hate Leo. He's a creepy pedophile. I saw him giving his eyes to a student, and then she bit her lip back to him." Melanie spoke.
"HELL NAH." I giggled from shock and disbelief. Magnolia and Celeste gagged and were literally grasping all sorts of things to stay standing up.

We all laughed and started to eat dinner.
"OH MY LOURD Y/N THIS IS SCRUMPTIOUS!" Magnolia yelled.
"Why thank you Magnolia." I said with a smirk. "WHY IS IT SPICY-" Celeste said with her throat as she guzzled water.
"IT WAS LIKE 4 CHILLI FLAKES CALM DOWN HOE-" I yelled.
Magnolia and Melanie were crying laughing on the ground as Celeste and I argued over the spice of chili flakes.
