surprise liv! (kind of... not really.) here is your comic cover for in bloom; i really hope you like it! thank you for giving me the chance to work with superman resources! of course when the opportunity presented itself i jumped right for dan mora... it's every comic fan's greatest wish to see their fave drawn by dan mora.
for this cover i used dan mora's variant cover for world's finest #8 as well as his rendition of marvel's captain marvel. though you can't see her in full colour, i did edit the original cover to match lily lark's description, as well as her faceclaim—the ever-beautiful adria arjona. i want to make another cover for in bloom at some point, hopefully one that features both lily and clark in full colour! for now, i hope you like this one. i used carol as the comic visage because i love the costume she wears; i feel like visually it's similar enough to clark's iconic S that both would work well in a cover together.
i also incorporated dan mora-drawn flowers (from a poison ivy cover) to emphasis the imagery and visual language in in bloom, and in lily's character herself.
hearing about lily (and making our crackship lark and lily) has been so lovely! i can't wait to read this fic! there are nowhere near enough clark fics on this app... but if we have in bloom i suppose there's no need for any more 🤭🤭
