Btw, Inko is kind of a drinker in this. No, she's not abusive, but she does work a lot of jobs so that why :)
-After school, Izuku POV-
After I got home I went to the kitchen, a note? I thought and read it,

'Dear Izuku,

I've went out to ——— bar. I will be back as soon as possible. Dinner is in the fridge so please go and eat it, don't skip another meal!! Ok hun?

Love mom xxx
P.S. if you need any help go to auntie Mistuki's house okay?

...Great.

-11:00PM-
I rolled over twice, pulled the covers on and off several times andwent on my phone three times. No matter what I did I couldn't fall asleep, what happened today just stuck in my mind. Kacchan's expression kept creeping into my mind. He looked almost worried and regretful, at first I thought he just wanted to vent out his feelings; since he would normally play nice before hand. But it looked like he wanted to say something that wasn't about him for once. When he wiped my tears away... I felt like it was when he were 4 years old again. Before he got his quirk.

-flashback, reader POV-
Kastuki walked around the playground, looking for his best friend,

"Zuzu!!" He shouted walking around a tree to find a crying Izuku, he walked over quietly and sat down next to him. "Zuzu?" He asked gently.

The greenette sniffles slightly and rests his head on the blonde's shoulder,

"T-they we-r-re mak-king f-" He spoke in between sobs but was cut off by, Kastuki turning to the side and cupping his face, bringing it closer,

"Don't worry, Zuzu!" He said confidently, wiping his bestfriend's tears away with his thumbs, "Once we get our quirks, we'll fight them off and make them apologise!" Izuku's face lit up and smiled, his eyes red and puffy, but he wasn't crying. Kastuki then hugged Izuku tightly and Izuku hugged back,

"I'll protect you!" Said the blonde, grinning widely.

-end of flashback, Reader POV-
I guess it all depended on quirks... He thought to to himself, laying on his bed. More tears began to fall from his eyes and he lightly 'punched' his head. Cursing himself for crying and for remembering that memory. He sniffled and heard a knock at his front door. What?

He gently got out of bed and stumbled his way to front door. His cheeks still stained from crying, new tears in his eyes. When he opened the door he was surprised to see who was standing there.

"K-k-kacchan?" He stuttered, closing the door slightly incase Kastuki would try to push past him and barge in. Izuku's doe eyes widened and he blinked confused,

"Crying.." Kastuki murmured,

"Huh?"

"You've been crying.." He spoke, gesturing to his eyes,

"Ah-" Izuku quickly let go of the door and wiped his tears away roughly. He then turned his attention back to Kastuki and raised an eyebrow.

"Can I.. come inside?" He asked gently, his husky voice unusually soft. Izuku nodded and stepped to the side. Kastuki walked in, took off his shoes and sat down at the table, pointing to seat opposite him,

"Sit," he said commandingly. Izuku shut the door and locked it before taking a seat at the table,

"Mhm?" He nodded to signal Kastuki to start talking. Kastuki let out a big sigh and then began,

"Deku.. So today. You were, Uhm. Crying." Ah so this was it, he was gonna make fun of me in the comfort of my own home. Asshole. Izuku nodded looked down at his lap, his hand fidgeting. "When I- y'know-"

"Went to mock me?" Izuku asked coldly, for some reason he felt safer in his own home,

-Izuku POV-
"Yes." Kacchan answered honestly, "When you looked at me, your eyes looked.." he sighed before he continued, "They didn't look normal." He said, "No sparkle like usual. Just teary and empty. I don't even know why it's affecting me that much, but it's annoying." He said coldly. I stared at him, my emerald green boring into his crimson red eyes.

"Huh?" I asked confused. Kacchan pinched the bridge of his nose and yelled,

"YOUR. EYES," He gestured to my eyes, "LOOKED. EMOTIONLESS." I flinched at each yell and it was clear he noticed,

"Why?" Kacchan raised an eyebrow, confused, "W-why, do yo-ou care.?" I asked as tears started to fill my orbs. I just couldn't hold it in anymore, I was tired of crying alone for what- hours?

-Kastuki POV-
I just sat there, speechless at the crying boy in front of me. I wanted to help him, but another part of me was saying to laugh and point, it more sounded like the black haired bastard than my own voice. After a moment or two he completely dead-panned and stood up. My eyes watched him intensely as he pointed to the door,

"Leave," Deku said flantly,

"What?!" I asked loudly out of instinct, he flinched.

"Leave," he whisper shouted, more and more tears fell, before I knew what I was doing- I got up and rushed over to him and... hugged? I hugged Deku? He tried to squirm free but my grip was strong. He eventually resorted to 'hitting' and 'punching' my chest, screaming over and over about how much he hated me. It didn't hurt me physically, Deku was too weak for that, but it hurt mentally. I've known him since childhood, and plus, that shitnerd always look up to me. Deku eventually stopped and melted into the hug, his painful sobs like nails on a chalkboard.
