Episode #39 - Ryuji and Yusuke's love for Keiko

What a few day field trip to the TV station to be for the students from Shujin Academy to go to, and for Keiko to see Akechi a whole lot more – while Ryuji will keep his eyes on Keiko, a lot more jealousy from Yuuki and Yusuke was going on after seeing it from TV as well. For Keiko and Morgana to return back to Leblanc.

Sojiro: Look who had fun today...Must've been different to go to the TV station two times these past two days, huh?

Keiko: It sure was, Mr. Sakura. (There were some good parts about it that happened for me today...)

From text messaging Ryuji and Ann for Yusuke to hearing what happened to them, there was a lot to talk about in person later on...

[Ryuji: That Akechi bastard.... Thinking about what he said is just pissing me off again.... It's fine, Keiko! Sorry. I didn't mean in it on your boyfriend...! I'm talkin' about bad mouthing us.]

[Keiko: *sigh* I know, Ryuji. It's Akechi's words.]

[Ann: He clearly tried to discredit everything we're doing. Yeah, it was his words.]

[Ryuji: And he just had to say it on live TV too!]

[Yusuke: Don't be so sour. There are, without a doubt, people we have saved. Those people could not have been saved if not for the heroics of the Phantom Thieves. I am living proof of that.]

[Ryuji: Awww, what a nice thing to say, Yusuke!]

[Ann: Still....was what Akechi-San said actually wrong? I feel like he had a point.]

[Ryuji: Why you gotta bring that up now?]

[Ann: I mean, is it really OK to be doing this to people just because they're criminals? Doesn't it seem a little selfish?]

[Yusuke: We are phantom thieves, Ann. I doubt everyone would forgive us for what we did to Madarame. Yet, I still decided that it was a necessary act.]

[Ryuji: Kamoshida too. We weren't gonna do shit to him through any kinda normal methods.]

[Ann: That's true, but......What do you think, Keiko? Are we being selfish?]

[Keiko: No, we're not selfish at all. We're helping people.]

[Ann: I guess I can't really think of any other way....]

[Yusuke: Hm. I believe our best path forward is sticking to our justice, not that of the law. Shouldn't that be enough? And with the unanimous decision rule in place, I doubt we'll lose our way.]

[Ann: .... Yeah, you're right. Sorry for bringing that up. And don't worry, I'm not thinking about quitting the Phantom Thieves or anything.]

[Ryuji: Just you watch, Akechi. Someday you're totally gonna see who was right!]

[Ann: OK, let's stop talking about this for now.]

Morgana: Someone needs to look at the bigger picture here, and Akechi might have to.

Even for Yuuki to text Keiko to not like Akechi saying about the Phantom Thieves to be his point of view to see for himself is all, to say about Junko sounded a bit different to not liking them either.

[Yuuki: God, I'm furious! You heard what Akechi said, right Amamiya? I know he's your boyfriend, but still...! How dare he declare the Phantom Thieves are criminals! As the administrator of the Phantom Aficionado Website, I can't stay quiet about this. From his words! Please don't hate me for this, Amamiya...!]
