[Monday]

"Hey, you're early," Jennie said. She caught Chaeyoung having breakfast, while her mom was preparing it. She sat next to Chaeyoung and poked a hotdog on her plate.

"Yah! That's my hotdog! Don't you have a hotdog?" Chaeyoung grumbled.

"I'm not sure. You wanna check?" Jennie answered teasingly while laughing at her own foolishness.

"Eeeew what the heck, Jennie you're disgusting!" Chaeyoung whined.

"Hey, you're the dirty minded, aren't you? What kind of hotdog do you have in mind?" Jennie said teasing Chaeyoung more.

"Oh, that's enough you two, I cooked a lot, don't fight anymore" Jennie's mom said. She also gave her daughter her own plate.

"So, what are you doing here?  Why are you eating here? Don't you have a home?" Jennie asked.

"I don't want to have breakfast with Dad. He's going to insist again that I should just work in our company. My day will be ruined. And today is going to be a good day. I know" Chaeyoung said.

"Ah! Isn't today your job interview?" Jennie asked. She can't even remember why Chaeyoung doesn't want to work at her father's company, after all, among all of their friends, Chaeyoung should be the one who doesn't have a hard time finding a job. But it turns out she has the most job experiences.

"Yes, and that's why I'm here" Chaeyoung said.

"You'll apply as our maid? Tsk, I'm sorry I don't want. I know you, you'll boss me around instead" Jennie said while biting into the hotdog.

"Stupid, as if I want to be your maid, you're filty and a mess" Chaeyoung complained.

"Hey excuse me, I smell like a baby!" Jennie said and forced Chaeyoung to smell her which the latter was avoiding.

"So, why are you here? Are you going to live here? Apply as  my wife? It's fine here, free food, free house, free affection, I can give you a comfortable life. Deal?" Jennie said.

"Mama, Jennie is being crazy and flirty again! Has she taken her medicatiin? She's daydreaming again" Chaeyoung complained.

"Say yes so she'll stop" Jennie's mom said, the mother-daughter tandem has teamed up again to tease her.

"Mama~~" Chaeyoung whined, while the mother and daughter laughed. Jennie's mom was still working while the two had breakfast.

"Rosie, for the nth time. Why are you here?" Jennie asked again, this time she wanted to know why the girl was at her house in the morning.

"Are you busy?" Chaeyoung asked her with a slightly serious voice.

"Depends" Jennie answered with a shrug.

"I need a driver" Chaeyoung said.

"I'm busy" Jennie said quickly.

"Nini, pretty please. I need someone to drive me to my job interview" Chaeyoung begged.

"I told you to learn how to drive. You have a lot of cars and you don't know how to drive? you can even get a driver, your dad can pay ten drivers if you want" Jennie said. Well, Chaeyoung knows how to drive. Drive her crazy if that counts.

"Well, you're her. You're the only one I need," Chaeyoung said cutely.

"I'm not sure if I'm your friend or your personal driver. Fine fine. What time is it?" Jennie asked.

"10-ish" Chaeyoung answered happily.

"Alright. I'll just take a bath, wanna join?" Jennie asked.

"What? No, thanks" Chaeyoung said.

"Hm, it's up to you, you won't see if I have a hotdog" Jennie said teasingly.

"Jennie!" Chaeyoung screamed but Jennie just laughed at her. Chaeyoung can hear her laugh until she went up to the second floor of the house where her room was.

"Be patient with my daughter, I don't know where that girl inherited her mischievousness. But thank you for being patient for a long time, even though I know she teases you every day" Jennie's mom said.

"That's okay, Ma. Maybe I just got used to it" Chaeyoung replied. She cleaned up the dishes and volunteered to wash them while the elder woman continued with the house chores.

Jennie is in the car and is waiting. She has been watching outside for more than 30 minutes, waiting to see if Chaeyoung will come out. She promised to wait for it. Jennie called every god and prayed that Chaeyoung would get accepted as if she's the one who's trying to get a job.

After a while, she saw Chaeyoung leave the establishment, she saw that the blonde girl even bowed to some security guards posted at the gate of that private preschool. The girl got into the car without saying a word. She's just quiet. Jennie quickly thought of something to say to ease her friend's heart. Chaeyoung has already put on a seatbelt and is waiting for Jennie to start the car.

"You know what? It's okay, don't be sad. There are other jobs out there," Jennie said.

"I'll start on Monday" Chaeyoung said briefly.

Silence enveloped the two of them for a moment before Jennie realized what Chaeyoung meant. She looked at her and this time Chaeyoung had a big smile on her face. She almost cried in joy. Chaeyoung holds the seatbelt tightly and looks very excited.

"Really?! That's great! Congratulations! I never doubted you, my baby love. You know what? we're going to celebrate. My treat" Jennie said happily even happier than Chaeyoung.

But maybe that's a thing, that you're happier when the person you love is happy.

"My baby loves?? In your face! But hey! That's new. Are you really going to treat me? There's no taking back. Come on! Hurry up! Let's go!" Chaeyoung said excitedly. The car started, they are feeling more comfortable this time compared to when they were just on their way to the interview. Chaeyoung was already smiling, the nervousness she had been feeling since this morning had disappeared. Maybe Jennie's presence made her less nervous. She didn't know how to thank her.

If Chaeyoung thinks about it, it feels like something has changed withJennie. The teasing has been reduced a bit. Apart from that, it seems that Jennie's way of ruining her day has also changed. Jennie now focuses more on pursuing her than teasing. Jennie has been different, since childhood, her way of thinking is really different. Jennie is smart, serious about her studies but she never forgets to pay attention to Chaeyoung. No matter how busy she is, she always makes time for her. Either annoying her or helping whenever she needs her. Jennie is always there.

"Why are you looking at me? You're already in love, aren't you?" Suddenly, Jennie said, Chaeyoung didn't realize that while she was deep in thought, she was staring at Jennie.

"In your face" Chaeyoung adjusted the seat and looked ahead. She didn't know why, suddenly her heart beats louder, as if someone was playing drums.

"Prettiness, of course" Jennie said. The smile on her face cannot be erased. It seems that she can prove that the girl of her dreams can be obtained through prayer.

"Where do you want to eat? You want something fancy or just fast food?" Jennie asked, she's fine anywhere as long as she's with Chaeyoung. Even if it's just street food, she's alright with it.

"Let's just eat fast food and then we'll go to artbox or daiso. I'll buy stuff for work" Chaeyoung said she's going to take advantage of having someone with her to shop for things she needs for her new job.

"Okay, you're the boss for today" Jennie said happily. She was thinking that it was a real date, because she was very excited. Jennie was happy while driving and Chaeyoung noticed that, she didn't say anything because Jennie's smile was contagious and she started smiling too.
