"I can't believe that happened." I huffed as I walked down the road hoping to find a new home that would accept me as a friend or a deity. As I traveled for 3 days I finally came across what seemed to be a transport truck, so I excitedly hopped in. The truck was cramped so in a mist of black I changed to a mouse.
"Much better." I whispered to myself as a curled up for a nap among the trucks wares.
I was getting some much needed rest until the truck glided to a stop, and I could hear voices talking but couldn't make out what was being said. Suddenly the door swung open and I had to hide myself, all while what looked like a knight of some sort was taking boxes out of the truck and inspecting them. I carefully made my way out of the truck being careful not to be seen and ran towards what I was could tell was a city, it was full of people bustling around. I had to take extra caution to not get stepped on while I looked for a safe space to change back to human form.
I ran towards the nearest alley and changed to my human form without checking if anyone was in it, and that was my first mistake in the big new city.
