Tabitha of the Cerulean witch clan had a meeting with the Alpha family of the Cage pack of werewolves. She had a prophecy to deliver. Something so miraculous, that could have devastating reactions, yet she was so honoured to have the chance to tell the Alpha family about it. She is escorted into the pack by the Beta, who asks her to wait in the Alpha office for a few minutes.
Few seconds later, the door opens to reveal the Alpha and his fully pregnant wife.
"Welcome Tabitha" the Alpha says and gestures her to remain seated as she starts to rise.
The Alpha and his Luna, take their respective seats and Tabitha starts,
"Alpha, Luna, Congratulations!"
"Thank you! Tabitha" Luna begins, "Umm... to be honest we, we- are a bit anxious about your visit, you were very vague about why you wanted to meet us..." she smiles lightly.
"Yes Luna, I'll get straight to the point. At the recent sabbath conducted in our clan, we received a prophecy. A prophecy about your child. Your first-born child will be a miraculous boy" Tabitha says with pride.
The Alpha and Luna seem overjoyed to hear this.
"The prophecy is,
'Cavea primogenitus Alpha erit filius mirabilis.
Summum imperium obtinebit, Qui regnum et lunam et solem colit.
Non lupus, sed leo mirabilis.
Sic, cadet et fugiet.
Solus bellator facere eum potest, antequam alii a filio tuo auferant.'"
Looking at their confused faces, Tabitha continues,
"The rough translation is
'The firstborn to Alpha cage will be a miraculous son.
He will hold supreme powers to make a kingdom that worships both the moon and the sun.
Not a wolf, but a miraculous lion.
So, he will fall and be shun.
Only the warrior can make him make it, before the others take it from your son.'
So, the good news is he will be a great person who will be capable of extraordinary things, but the not so pleasant news is that he will not be a wolf. On the brighter side though, he will be a magnificent LION – A Lion Shifter" Tabitha tells them.
Alpha tightens his fist and growls "How?" and the Luna begins to cry, "What do you mean - he won't be a wolf? How? How can he be a lion?" she asks sobbing. "The pack will never accept a lion as an Alpha..."
"From my understanding, the birth of a lion shifter happens only in times of great need. It has happened only once before. 7000 years ago, a lion shifter was born into a werewolf family, who went on to save the entire shifter population from an evil force. It's happening again. Alpha, Luna, your son will become a great man, but initially there may be some difficulties due to his different nature. But that is only natural for a great leader."

A few days later the Luna gives birth to a cute baby boy, as predicted. They name him LUAN CAGE. LUAN meaning LION. The pack celebrated his birth with great vigour, little did they know that he will never be their Alpha, for he had a greater calling. The Alpha chose not to reveal anything about the prophecy to his pack, until Luan shifts into a lion. He and his Luna were determined that they will ensure that Luan will at least get a normal childhood. They will protect and cherish him for as long as possible.
