3RD POV:
Y/N had been feeling restless after spending the afternoon with their 'uncle' Jayce. Though they loved him dearly, they had been craving something more. The group had been talking about Viktor, Y/N's father, who was working in his science lab for the whole day. Y/N had the idea that maybe, if it wasn't too hard, they could try and sneak away to go see Viktor. It was a daring decision, but Y/N had no problems sneaking away and running off to find their father, and before they knew it, they had managed to make it to Viktor's lab without being noticed.
Y/N knocked anxiously on the door, hoping that Viktor would be there to open it. No one answered, so they decided to try the door knob and to their elation, it was unlocked. Y/N opened the door, peeking in carefully to make sure Viktor wasn't there, before slipping inside.
They were elated to find their father inside, and before they could say a word Viktor had already spotted them. With a huge grin on his face, he welcomed Y/N with open arms, excited to have them there with him. It had been at least a day or two since he had last seen his child, and they were too happy to be reunited.
Jayce, on the other hand, was far from happy. When he found out that (Y/N) was missing, he sent out a search party to look for them. Everyone in the group had come together in an attempt to find Y/N, and for hours the group looked all over for them; but in the end, their search was futile.
It was nearing dark when Jayce was walking back toward the lab, when he saw someone in the distance carrying what looked like a sleeping child. He squinted, and when the light hit, revealed that it was indeed Viktor carrying Y/N in his arms.
Jayce ran up to them, asking what was going on. Viktor wasn't too surprised when he heard that his son had snuck away for the day to be with him, but he just chuckled and turned to head back home. Jayce could only shake his head, and follow.
