beach day

The sun was softly falling through the window onto the kitchen table. The boys were happily eating the breakfast Chan made. Chan finished eating first and just sat still while waiting for Hyunjin to finish all of his food as well. He looked out of the window, enjoying the warmth of the sun as an idea struck his brain.
"How about we go to the beach later on? I mean as long as you don't have anything else planned for today"

Hyunjin, who had just now emptied his plate, seemed happy about that suggestion. "Actually, I really like that idea. It's been so long since I've been to a beach, I'm excited already"

They packed up everything they needed quickly. Chan even managed to bring some snacks.
While driving the time flew by, due to the two of them talking the entire time. Earlier Chan was a bit worried that Hyunjin would feel uneasy, talking to him but those thoughts were forgotten quickly.

Arriving at the beach, Hyunjin nearly jumped out of the car, the second Chan had parked his black Audi.

Hyunjin smiled, enjoying the warmth on his skin. He took a deep breath, already being able to smell the salty breeze coming from the ocean.

Chan took all of their things out of the car and together they walked closer towards the edge of the water.

After Hyunjin had helped him arrange everything on the blanket, Hyunjin decided he wanted to test out the water before changing into his swimming clothes.

He went in, till his knees were surrounded by the clear and warm water. Since Hyunjin seemed pretty distracted Chan took this opportunity to sneak up on him and scare him by splashing some water onto his back. He couldn't hold back his laugh as Hyunjin fell over, Chan looked very proud of himself.

Hyunjin let out a small scream and lost his balance falling right onto the ground. He looked disgusted at his soaked clothes, for a short moment. This scared Chan a little. He was very relieved as Hyunjin started laughing loudly.

"You're gonna pay for this" were the last words before Chan got tackled by Hyunjin.
What Chan planned to be just a silly little prank ended up in a huge water fight.
Both of them were completely drenched before they even had the chance to change into their swimming clothes.

It was already noon when they finally got out of the water, both of them still gigging.

Chan was first to reach the blanket, he took the towels out of his bag. He looked back up to hand Hyunjin one of them who was still a few steps away.

Hyunjin had stopped half the way, facing the sun, water from his hair was dripping down his face. Chan just stood there and looked towards the other boy with admiration.
Luckily, he noticed he was staring early enough and turned away quickly, hiding his blushed cheeks.

He pretended to be busy looking for something, as Hyunjin had finally made it to the blanket as well.
