"I know a nice place where we can go. Do you trust me?" "With my life" Hyunjin joked once again, even though he knows, that he truly meant it. Chan was satisfied with that reply and told Hyunjin to follow him towards a small cafe, right around the corner. Chan confidently walked in and held the door open, for Hyunjin like a gentleman. Hyunjin just bowed a little and walked through. As they entered, the nice smell of fresh coffee surrounded them. The cafe has a nice atmosphere, it looked retro and was pretty small. Hyunjin really enjoyed the cosy vibe. He spotted a free table in the corner and made himself comfortable. Chan followed him without a complaint. As they sat down, they both started to look at the menu. "What are you going to order?" Chan put down the menu since he already chose what he wanted and smiled at Hyunin. Him rather being a sweet tooth, he replied "I think I am going for pancakes. Oh, and I will order an americano to drink. What about you?" "Good choice, I'm taking some eggs and bacon. And to drink I want just a regular coffee"
The boys really enjoyed the food, it seemed to have tasted even better due to them being very hungry. Time passed really fast as they talked about their lives, obviously, a lot has happened. They've spent almost 3 hours at the cafe, by now, ordering more coffee with each hour that went by.
"I am so glad that you're back, Jinnie. I've missed you" Chan smiled softly. "Jinnie? Wow, I haven't heard that in years. It feels nice though. Kinda reminds me of all the silly things we did as kids. It's scary how fast the time passes" Chan agreed, nodding, as they went on talking about their childhood and all the memories they shared from back then.
Suddenly, Chan's ringtone went off. "Oh god, it's this late already. I'm sorry but my friend is waiting for me, we planned on going to a small concert this eve. Can we meet again another time?" Hyunjin was a bit overwhelmed by the sudden mood swing "Do you mind if I join you?" Chan somehow didn't expect Hyunjin asking to join them, but he was more than happy to hear that. He just got back his old best friend, of course, he would like to spend even more time with him. "Are you for real? Of course, If you want to. I'm sure Felix wouldn't mind. The more the merrier." Chan looked joyful. "Let's go then. We'll have to hurry. I will give Felix a call on the way there."
