"I'll go" Chan shouted, as he ran towards the door. He quickly opened it, not expecting what he was about to see. A tall, young, handsome-looking boy stood right in front of him. Chan was too stunned to speak, recognizing this face immediately. His long-gone, childhood best friend Hyunjin, had appeared out of nowhere.
Chan went completely silent, he got way too overwhelmed by this whole situation.
"Something smells burned" the boy, who was still outside, stated.
Chan finally woke up, out of his trance.
"Excuse me for a sec, mate"
The blond one sprinted away and disappeared into a different room. Hyunjin was left there confused, he could only hear Chan curse silently. After a while, he shouted, "You can come in".
Hyunjin did as he was told and after he closed the door behind him he walked into the room Chan had disappeared in earlier. "Everything alright?" Hyunjin threw a confused glance at Chan who was holding a burned piece of toast.
"Yeah, I just lost my breakfast but it's alright" Chan took a break, now realising who he was talking to. "I can't believe it. It's you"
"Yeah, same. It's been such a long time. I'm glad you still live here. I wasn't sure, if you did, I would've just knocked randomly on someone else's door." Hyunjin tried to lighten the tense mood, with his joking undertone.
Chan replied amused "I'm surprised, you remember our address."
"How could I forget?! I spend so much time here, it was basically my second home"
Chan couldn't hide his smile, as some of those happy memories flooded his brain. "I can't believe you're back, buddy. I am so happy to see you again."

The boy opposite of him clearly felt a bit warmed up now.

"I feel like the thing with your breakfast, was kinda my fault. Why don't we go out to eat something and catch up on everything that has happened?"
