(Zander's POV)
I walked down the corridor of my house, going to my bedroom, opening the door and sitting on my bed, waiting for a text from Luke on my phone. I finally heard a ding from it a couple of minutes later. Luke said,
"I just saw your text now, sorry baby. I was hiking with my mom when you sent that text."
I started typing.
"It's ok. Umm Luke, since we aren't hanging out as much as we used to, and we haven't really gotten on a date yet, what if we go out on a date?"
Luke gasped in surprise and blushed tremendously.
"Uh, yeah sure! Where do you think we can go?"
I thought for a moment and texted,
"I heard there's a cafe nearby Rosemeadow. I think it's called Rose Café or something like that. You think we'll like it?"
"Are there non-caffeinated products? You already know I don't really like caffeine."
I raised my head up and went to Rose Café's website to look on the menu for any-caffeinated drinks. Finally I found the Lavender Cookie! One of Luke's favorite colors was Periwinkle, Lavender is close enough to that right? Anyway, it has only 5 grams of sugar (good, because right now Luke is having a tiny sugar diet to reduce weight), has chocolate chips (which Luke loves), and a side drink of the customer's choice (which is probably gonna be boba)!
"Perfect plan!" Zander thought, as he immediately typed what he was gonna order for Luke.
"This seem good?" Zander typed after.
"Yeah! Great choice Zander!" Luke typed and I smiled.
"It's already night time so what time tomorrow do you want to go to the date?" I typed.
"We can go after lunch so 1:30?" Luke replied.
"Ok!" I agreed.
"Okay! See you tomorrow Zander!" Luke exclaimed.
"See you tomorrow Luke!" I exclaimed back. I turned off my phone and laid down on my back. I looked up at my ceiling, just realizing what I asked Luke.
"AAAAHHHH!" I put my head into a pillow as I screamed in excitement. "I-it's finally happening! We're going on our first date!" I thought. And this isn't the first time on a date in our relationship, NO! This is our first FIRST date with ANYONE!
I put my head out of my pillow and tried to sleep but my excitement got the best of me. This feeling is the exact same feeling as when it's Christmas the next morning and you're too excited so you can't sleep!
When my excitement was fading a bit and I was finally sleepy, I checked the my phone and,
"Ah!" I whispered to not wake anyone up. The lights on my phone were too bright! I quickly turned the brightness as low as possible. Still bright but tolerable. I saw the time and... it said 4:56 am! I sigh. I have to REALLY sleep now if I'm ever gonna go to the date without being tired and sleepy. I slept and when I next woke up it was 8:00 am.
