Seungmin's POV

It was Monday, which means it was another cold school day. And I'm really not looking forward to it.

As part of my routine, I sat up from my bed feeling a bit dizzy and sleepy from staying up past my bedtime just to finish a stupid project

God, I should've set my priorities straight last Saturday...

I regretted meeting up with my friends rather than staying home and finishing my projects that were due today. Sure, my friends are fun to be with but that doesn't change the fact that I need to have my priorities

"I wish I could hangout with them without having any activities", I half whined and groaned as I rubbed my face to waken me up a bit

"Alright, let's get this day rolling", I said as I stood up to stretch my body as I heard a few bones crack.

I grabbed my phone and walked outside of my bedroom, there I saw my dad yawning and walking towards the stairs

"Morning, daddd!", I said as dad smiled at me and greeted me back, his smile not disappearing. I always adored dad's energetic personality

I smiled at this as I made my way to the bathroom while I opened my phone to go over the app Spotify

I finally reached the bathroom as well as i finally opened Spotify. I qyuckly open and shut the bathroom door

I quickly played my favorite artist's songs on shuffle, Laufey. I adored Laufey's songs so much to the point I listen to her almost every chance I get

I set my phone by the sink as I heard one of my favorite songs from her, Beautiful Stranger, play and echo throughout the bathroom

I smiled as I took off my clothes to start taking my very very warm bath. Thank goodness dad had finally installed the shower heater, I wouldn't last another day in the cold showers...

"Holding your hand... Still feels electric", I whispered the lyrics below my breath as I walk towards the train station

The song that I was listening to right now is "Love Flew Away". This song had always made me feel a bit sad for no reason at all

Jisung had messaged me earlier that I won't be able to walk with him and that he's already at the station, which honestly made me a bit relieved

I really didn't feel like talking to anyone at the moment. I'd rather walk alone while I blast Laufey songs to at least eliminate the silence around me

I fixed my left bluetooth earphone as I quickly went over to the station's platform. But what was about to happen caught me way off guard

As soon as I got on the platform, the passenger cars had already closed making it impossible to enter

I gasped in panic as I looked around as I tried to think of a way to possibly get to school on time. I obviously can't get on the 5:50 train, I would be late for school by the time I arrive at Station 5

I groaned in frustration as the train went off, fast. I bit my lip as I quickly grabbed my phone to try and message Hyunjin about the situation

I looked at my message before I turned off my phone. I can't skip school, not now. I have this project to pass and I obviously can't fail to do so...

"Fucking hell! What am I supposed to do now", I said as I tapped my foot anxiously. "Looks like I have no other choice"

I quickly exited the train station as I went to where taxis would usually wait for passengers at. I sadly looked around for any taxis, I knew that the money I've been saving up for would be spent as my payment to the taxi

I was never late for the train (not counting the first few weeks of transporting using the train) What happened? What went wrong? Did I do my routine correctly?

As questions pounded in my head I saw an available taxi as I quickly ran to it waving my hands as indication that I would like take His Taxi

He rolled down the window as he looked at me, "where to?", was all he said, "S.K Uni, please", I answered as he nodded

"Alright, get in", and with that I quickly got in to the back of the taxi. I thanked the guy as he just nodded and started the engine

I arrived at school by 6:02am. I thanked the driver one last time before he took off. I sighed in relief as I faced the school I go to. "This really serves as a lesson"

It was still a bit early since school doesn't start until 6:40. I debated if I should enter the school or if I should just go to a nearby café to get some nice hot chocolate drink

I looked at my wristwatch as I decided to go to the café instead of entering the school's premises. I really would like a hot chocolate on a cold morning

I entered the café as a nice warm air hit me. I smiled as I went towards the counter to give my order.

Once I've paid I looked around the café to see if I can find any free tables to sit at. And that's when I spot him

I walked towards Minho as I sat right in front of him. He looked up from his phone as he smiled and greeted me, "Hello, Seungmin. Good morning"

"Good morning as well, Minho! I never knew you stay at this café before going to school...", I said as he chuckled

"Well what can I say? They make the best coffee and sweets", was all Minho said before I nodded

"True, I've went here once with Hyunjin. He got an americano while I went ahead and got me some caramel frappe", I told Minho as he nodded

"By the way, how did you get here so early? Did you, Hyunjin and Jisung take the 4:50 train?", he asked as I shook my head 'no'

"That's not the case, Minho. I was late for our usual train so I had to take a taxi here to school", I explained. "Does Hyunjin know?", Minho asked

I opened my phone only to see that Hyunjin still hasn't seen my message. "Apparently not", I smiled as Minho looked confused
