"We got a call from Bridgewater, Florida PD." Penelope says, showing the photos. "The body of Rebecca Strong was found last night in a rest stop women's room with and without things."

"Whoa." Luke mutters.

"Yeah, and then it gets worse." Penelope says.

"All the telltale signs are here." JJ says.

"Pentagram, legs and fingers gone." Rossi says.

"There's even one neat aspect." Emily points out. "Her earrings and jewelry are laid out equidistant on the floor."

"Sure as hell looks like him." Rossi says.

"Looks like who?" Matt asks.

"Floyd Feylinn Ferell." JJ states.

"A psychotic cannibal who'd been killing under the radar for years." Molly informs.

"He killed 10 prostitutes then moved up to low risk victims." Emily says.

"He kept slipping through the cracks and avoiding justice so people referred to him as Lucky." JJ says.

"The worst of it was he owned a barbecue joint, and he fed one of the victims to the search party." Rossi says.

"Still why I don't like meat too much." Molly remarks.

"That is a very--" Tara starts, but stops when Penelope slams the remote down on the table making them all look at her.

"I ju-- I have a computer..." Penelope says, walking out.

"Was it something I said?" Tara asks.

"No. That's not you." Emily assures, sitting down. "Um... we were working Ferell's case when she was shot."

"Garcia was shot?" Luke asks.

"10 years ago." JJ states. "Happened right in front of her apartment building."

"Was it a random act of violence?" Matt asks.

"No, he, uh, lured her into dating him before she I.D.ed him. Turns out, he was a dirty cop named Colby Baylor and she was -- unknowingly on her part -- getting close to exposing him." JJ says.

"So he shot her." Luke says. "Where is he now?"

"He's dead." JJ states.

"Good." Luke nods.

"Let's just give her a few minutes." Emily says. "Tara, what were you saying?" She asks the woman.

"Projected cannibalism. The act of inducing others to consume human flesh unknowingly. You do not see that very often." Tara says.

"Well, projection seems to be a thing for Ferell." Emily says. "He fed the fingers of 10 previous victims to a later one."

"His way of telling us he was 10 victims deep before we even knew he existed." Rossi says.

"You think he's back?" Luke asks.

"Not unless he really lives up to his nickname." Emily says. "He's been locked up in the Hazelwood Psychiatric Hospital for the past 10 years."

"Well, then it's a copycat wanting to ride the wave of horror left in Ferell's wake." Matt says.

"Statistically, copycat killers tend to be vulnerable narcissists. Though overtly boastful, they harbor deep seated feelings of inadequacy. Emulating notorious crimes makes them feel powerful." Spencer says.

"Ferell was found to be mentally incapable of assisting in his own defense, so, he skated without a trial." Rossi says.

"If this unsub is anything like Ferell, he's got a taste for it. And copycats typically don't stop after one victim." Emily says. "Wheels up in 20. JJ, can I talk to you for a second?"
