Molly, Penelope, and Emily are in the unit chief's office and eating dinner.
"Oh, come on, you're telling me there isn't one guy in your life?" Penelope questions.
"Nope." Molly shakes her head, making sure her poker face remains on.
"Yeah, right." Emily scoffs. "Something's been making you happier lately. You're definitely getting laid."
"Emily!" Molly chides.
"It's true." Penelope agrees. "We just need to know who."
"Nobody." Molly scoffs.
"Oh, I'll find him." Penelope promises.
Molly's saved by a knock on the door.
"I gave at the office." Emily calls out. The door opens and Rossi steps in.
"Oh, good, you're still here." Rossi says.
"Yeah, it's the BAU, Dave. I've got a pup tent and K-rations in the closet." Emily says. "What's up?"
"Eggroll?" Penelope asks, motioning to the food.
"Uh, I'm good, thanks." Rossi tells her. "Emily, do you think I can get the next few days off, use some of my annual leave?"
Molly's jaw falls slack as she stares at him.
"What?" He asks, seeing their looks.
"David Rossi, time off?" Penelope asks.
"I think we've entered a parallel universe." Emily comments.
"Or we're all losing it." Molly adds.
Penelope grabs Emily's stapler and gently smacks it against her head.
"Ouch. Nope. This is actually happening." Penelope says.
"Okay, you can stop the theatrics." He tells them. "I got a call this evening from Krystall."
"Krystall with the "K" and two Ls?" Emily asks.
"Whoa, wait. What's happening?" Penelope asks. "Did I miss something?"
"Uh, she was Rossi's third ex-wife." Emily says. "She was a blackjack dealer in Las Vegas."
"And our love blossomed as so many of the great ones do, over a deck of cards and lots of casino comped booze." Rossi says.
"Now, what happened? That sounds like a love for the ages." Emily says.
"Once we sobered up, we had the marriage annulled." Rossi says.
"Why did I not know about this? You know the rules. All gossip funnels through me." Penelope says.
"Oh, wait, it gets better." Emily says. "They got married in one of those drive through wedding chapels, right?"
"Yep. Two blocks off the strip. Our sacred vows were officiated by an Elvis impersonator, who might have been drunker than we were." Rossi says.
"Have you seen this woman since?" Penelope asks.
"Birthday and Christmas cards, but face to face, no." Rossi says. "She moved to L.A., got remarried, had a kid, got divorced. Now her daughter's gonna get married here in D.C. next week." Emily's phone beeps and she takes it out. "We hope to get together for coffee, but if that's a new case coming in..."
"Yeah, there is, and we can handle it without you." Emily says. "You keep that coffee date. That's an order. Just promise me one thing. No spur of the moment trips to Atlantic City." She says. Rossi crosses his heart.
