Charlie and Sneeg were in a hospital-like room, which was basically their bedroom now, healing from the last game they had to endure. Charlie ended up with a good sized gash in his left arm, and Sneeg ended up with a sprained ankle.

"Why did we have to be stuck in this shit." Sneeg grumbled as he laid on the hard hospital bed. Charlie just looked at Sneeg. He was in too much of a dazed state to respond, still processing the trauma they both endured from the last game. Sneeg continued his rant, "At least Ranboo is free. Sure he was killed... But he doesn't have to keep playing these horrible games anymore." He paused and looked over at Charlie. "Charlie are you alright? You look dissociated."

Sneeg carefully went over to Charlie and tapped his shoulder gently to get his attention. He jumped slightly, oblivious that Sneeg had moved from his bed to where Charlie was sitting.

"Sorry I guess I'm still trying to process what happened earlier... I can't get Nikki's screams out of my head..." Charlie said, trying to snap himself back to reality. Sneeg rubbed his back gently and sighed.

"It's alright Charlie, I get it..." Sneeg looked out the window. There wasn't much to look out at for multiple reasons. One being, they were out in the middle of nowhere, there was only fields of chest-high tall grass, a few trees, and the sky. The second reason was that the window was covered in rusted, but sturdy and tough, iron bars so you could only see so much. The door of the room opened, revealing the man that Charlie and Sneeg hated with every atom in their bodies.

"Hello! Recovering well?" Hetch spoke. Sneeg only growled and turned to Charlie's arm, checking the bandages. Charlie went back to his dissociated state. Hetch smiled, but it wasn't a friendly smile. "Now now. It's quite rude to ignore someone when they're talking."

"Yeah well it's 'QuItE rUdE' to keep forcing us into your traumatizing games!" Sneeg shot back, Hetch didn't like this at all. He walked over to Sneeg and struck him across the face with a scalpel-like knife, leaving a deep, bleeding, finger-long cut on his right cheek. Sneeg yelped in pain, fell to the ground, and put his hand on the wound. Charlie snapped back to reality quickly when this happened, getting on the floor to help Sneeg. Sneeg and Charlie looked up at Hetch in pure fear, but Hetch only looked down at the two in amusement and satisfaction.

"Maybe we should watch our words next time." Is all he said before leaving the room and locking the door. Charlie let out the breath he didn't realize he was holding, as he carefully helped Sneeg to his bed.

"Are you ok??" Charlie asked him, as he grabbed some medical supplies from the cabinet. Sneeg just turned his head away from Charlie and sighed. Charlie went over to Sneeg and began tending to his wound. "Sneeg? Are you ok?" Charlie asked again, concern clouding his voice.

"I'm still alive I guess." Sneeg responded quietly. Charlie looked down sadly. He missed the old Sneeg, the happy, always joking Sneeg, the Sneeg who would try to look on the bright side rather then the dark side. But thanks to this hell that Showfall created and placed them in, that Sneeg might never come back. Charlie wasn't his old self either he realized. His old self would be trying to cheer up Sneeg, trying to convince him that they both would get out one day. But of course, that version of him is long gone. Taken away by constant trauma and shattered hope.

Sneeg laid down and went to sleep. Charlie sighed and laid down on his own bed, trying to gather the courage to go to sleep and face the nightmare that's been plaguing him for years. He looked over at the wall, the countless cracks showed the age of the building. Charlie finally decided to try and sleep. He took off his glasses, laid them on the table in-between him and Sneeg, rolled over on his right side, and closed his eyes, as he preparing for the nightmare that awaited him every night. Soon he drifted off to sleep.
