bobby and i walk into the venue and sit down on the couch to eat our meal deals. "rob mate what the fuck is that?" eli says disgusted as he wrinkles his nose up at bobby's duck wrap. "thank you!" "there is nothing wrong with my wrap thank you very much."
"you guys missed the support act introducing themselves." josh says. "oh who is it?" i ask. "this girl called florence grant and her band, ryan's showing her around the venue." "he's been listening to her music all week."
"oh my god no way i love her, she's hugh grant's daughter!" i say to bobby. he nods.
"not another nepo baby.." josh sighs. aurora punches him lightly on the arm. "okay i deserved that."
just as we were talking about them, ryan walks in talking with a small blonde girl. "florence this is bobby our bassist i was telling you about earlier." ryan says to her. he smiles awkwardly and waves. "and thats.." "oh my god your mags albarn, this is so humiliating but i actually love your music what the fuck." she smiles walking over to me to shake my hand.
"you're kidding i was literally just saying how i love YOUR music." i laugh. we sit back down on the coach and indulge in conversation.

i slide out of my bunk and open up the tour bus door, eli smiling up at me with a paper bag in his hand. the others were still unpacking their stuff from the venue while eli had gone for a smoke, so helpful of him as always.
"you could've just knocked" i walk over to the coach to sit down, him following behind me. "i got our usual." he takes two glazed doughnuts out of the paper bag and passes one to me. back when we were kids we would always sit on the beach and eat them while everyone else went swimming, not really being fans of the ocean. i kept in touch with eli the most during the two years i had stayed in london, he always felt like another big brother to me.
"bless your cotton socks." i tap his head and dig into my sugary treat. "so, um do you think if i asked angel out she'd say yes." he says shyly. i wipe my mouth. "are you kidding me, bro she's obsessed with you of course." "okay okay good, i was just wondering." he smiles to himself tapping his foot.
"in other news, nice to see you and bobby getting on again." he winks. "oh eli don't start that again, i have a boyfriend!" "yeah yeah i know and he's a very nice lad i know i know but, he's not bobby!" he shrugs. "will you leave it? i saw you tagging my dad in that post, not cool!"
"you cannot tell me there is NOTHING there." "i can guarantee you, all my romantic feelings for rob are gone." i tell him. he looks at me sternly for a second. "you blushed as you said that" "i did not!" "did too!" "eli i swear to god."
