"Holy shit, my head hurts so bad.."

"Oh shit, Soojin, you're awake!"

"Oh shit, I am!" 

I looked at my hands and touched my face.

"You can see me, right? I'm not dead, right?" I said, waving my hand in front of my face.

"We can see you, Soojin." Geonwoo said, smiling brightly.

"Oh, thank God!" I said closing my eyes tightly and clenching my chest.

"Oh but Soojin, the doctor told us why you fainted so suddenly..." Geonwoo said.

I looked at them both and smiled.

"Why so serious all of a sudden? I'm sure it's not bad.." I laughed looking at their sincere faces.

"Come on! Just tell me!"

"Ano-what-a?" I said raising an eyebrow.

"Anorexia." Woojin said.

"It's caused by lack of eating." Geonwoo explained.

"B-but how does explain how I passed out out of nowhere?!" I questioned.

"It's probably because you ate a lot at once and your body wasn't used to it." Geonwoo said.

I rubbed my forehead anxiously as I tried to figure out when I possibly stopped eating regularly.

"Soojin," Woojin said cupping my hands and looking into my eyes, "they're gonna keep you here for a few days to monitor you and make sure you don't faint again."

"Wait, what? I can't stay here, I have to go back to my mom and-"

"We know, Soojin. We'll look after her for you while you're gone. We promise." Geonwoo said.

"But, I- I can't let you guys do that. You've already done a lot for me and I haven't even payed you back from when you helped me and my mom at the café" I sobbed.

"It's okay, Soojin. As long as you're safe. That's what matters." Woojin said.

I extremely despised crying in front of other people but today was different, I couldn't help but let the tears flow down my cheeks.

"Thank you so much guys, for everything." 

They looked at each other with wide goofy smiles on their faces and opened their arms. I rolled my eyes playfully and went in for a group hug. I rubbed their backs and sighed at how warm and peaceful I felt in this moment.

I haven't had this much peace in a while.

And it won't stay for long.

GEONWOO'S POV

Me and Woojin started to make our way to Ms. Hong's café once I stopped in my tracks and looked at the glowing convenience store before grabbing Woojin's hand and making our way through the door.

"Geonwoo, what are you doing, shouldn't we go tell Ms. Hong what happened?" Woojin said.

"Let's relax for a moment, it's been a long day, yeah?" I grabbed to bowls of ramen from the shelf and went to pay for them.

After the ramen was paid for and cooked, we sat down by the window and looked into the cold dark night of Seoul.

"Don't you think Soojin's gone through a lot?" I said opening the bowl and blowing on it before taking a bite.

"Yeah, her life's pretty messed up. And it's so unfair because she's so young." Woojin agreed, also opening his bowl of ramen.

I nodded my head and looked outside. Then all of a sudden, I got a random thought.

"Why don't we help her?" I said.

He turned his head a smiled.

"Trust me, I wanna help her too but with little to no information, we can't make a plan."  He shook his head.

"What if we ask Ms. Hong?" I said.

He put down his chopsticks and gave his full attention to me.

"What do you mean?" 

"I mean, if we get her to tell us what happened with her husband and Ok Gangwoo, maybe we can form a plan from there."

"How will we get her to tell us?"

"Maybe she'll just tell us straight up.."

"Hmm..."

SOOJIN'S POV'I wonder what they're doing right now...' I thought.

I took my phone off of the small table next to me and began to text Woojin.

Wyd?: Me

Woojin: We're heading back to ur house rn

Make sure u explain everything to my mom without mention that ano-thing: Me

Woojin: Okay, get some rest

You too, goodnight: Me

Woojin: Goodnight

I looked at my phone and smiled brightly before putting it back on the charger and tucking myself in.
